The same guy that took the photos of Harlan Charles and the Carlisle Blue Corvette that is floating around the internet took this photo of my car. You can see the "famous" powder blue Grand Sport behind my car.

I thought it came out pretty good, although it would have been nicer with the hood down.

Wow, all this time I thought your stripes were almost maroon.

Nice pic.

They are a metallic red garnet and they really pop in the sunlight. However that photo has a tinch too much saturation. I'm not sure what color space that was saved in but its still pretty close. The photo on my avatar and the other ones taken that same day are darker because it was a little overcast.

I see what you mean... I would expect a "metallic red garnet" to be a little richer. That looks almost like fire engine red.

It might not be the colour space he saved it in on the camera, but how much post processing he did.

That is pretty close to that actual color. Later I'll play with the color space, but its pretty close. Maybe just a tone shy of that.

Very nice pic!
I agree with you though... I prefer the hood down than up.

I'm thinking its close... but Mick is a perfectionist!

It won't be long. I drove it around the beaches today, nothing more than about 2500 to 3,000 rpm range. Just idling and cruising. I'm loving it!! Its louder than before and thumpier. I might have to tone that down some.

Looks great! I also thought the stripes were a different shade of red. Like the brighter look, in direct sun.

Well... like I said, the saturation is up a bit on that photo but they are not maroon at all. I'll snap a photo using my DSLR in the driveway and we will compare.

I had this sent to me today from another guy. I think this best portrays the colors on the stripe. Also notice how the hash marks have a slight metallic sheen to them. The hood stripes do the same thing at the correct angle. Anyhow... just wanted to post something a bit better than the other photo.
