Good Morning CGs!

It was Xmas 2.0 last night as my kids opened more presents at our house from cousins, aunts, and us. Holy crap a lot of stuff. Some of it I already decided is going back to the store. Just too much. Other boxes are left unopened and will go in the closet for about 6 more months until the kids are bigger. I can't believe how much stuff there is.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I was wondering if the Ruesday was a mis-type.

Got up with the wife this morning - she has to be at work, so I figured I'd go into the city and book some hours.

Good morning, I also am up early and headed out to work......got some things to do before the end of the year.

Weather is very nice but you know that can't last. Spent yesterday getting our 29 foot Jayco toy hauler cleaned out and ready for it's new owners to pick up.......what was supposed to take a couple of hours turned into all afternoon as my wife and I went through all the pics and stuff we had collected over 10 years of travels....it turned into a nastalga fest and of course I couldn't get rid of all of it....not even most of it......ok none of it. We just boxed it up and put it in the shop....who can throw away a flat rock that has luv u dad on it......come on.

Gotta get to work....I cleaned out the C5 and put in the new floor mats.....nice! They match the cargo mat both are firethorn red which helps break up the black.....now if I could get a good deal on their new seat covers........

Here if you like the sound of a Mid Year 427 racing at full song (and I'm thinking who doesn't) then this is for you......

Roh-roh!

Sucks to be back at work, but at least it will be a short week - I'm taking Friday off again. I brought in a bunch of Christmas cookies to tide me over until nap-time.

Enjoy your day, all!

Morning guys....I slept in some, as the house here is quiet. Nephew had to go to work, niece and kids must have gone somewhere or else they haven't gotten up yet (doubtful). The wife and her sister left early to take MIL to a Dr appointment. I'm going to try and see my friend (the one who was best man in my wedding).

Yesterday afternoon my little brother calls and says him and his wife want to take Rosie and I out for supper. So we drove up to his place and I drove on up to a great steakhouse he always raves about. It was a good meal. Then we went back and chatted for an hour or so. while there he came out with a S&W polished 38, J frame (?), polished stainless steel revolver. "Here you said you were looking for a handgun. This is one I picked up from a guy at work. He inherited it from his mom who was a deputy sheriff. Looks like she only shot it to qualify" It's a beautiful handgun. I just have never owned a handgun and wanted something to have in the house. Guess I need to take the CC course so I can get my license.

We'll have round three of family tonight.

Marcus there was a guy that had a set of Firethorn sport seats for sale. I almost bought them to make office chairs. Those would look good in your car. I'll check to see if he still has them.

Don't forget to stop off at the casino. There's a half and half chance you can walk out with some pocket money.

Wow, what a relief, I could see tar paper thru the hole. Guess it will hold out until spring. Thought I was going to have to be responsible today.

So, I was rooting thru the shop, found a hood and a door.

Yeah, that wasn't "Minnesota Nice". We actually drove by there around the time it was all starting - tons of traffic.

Evening guys....it has been a good day. I spent several hours at my buddies place (actually his moms house). It was nice to chat, we just don't do it often enough.

This afternoon and this evening I've been working on the in laws car. Clay bar, a little paint correction and paint sealant. We'll head home tomorrow afternoon. It will be nice to get home and in my own bed.
