Good Morning CGs!

Yesterday morning was rough when I left. We had about an inch of snow...yeah, just an inch, and the travel times most places were tripled or more. A normal 20 minute expressway commute was up to 2:03 according to the radio. Holy cow. I was almost late to work myself but made it in time. Roads should be clear this morning so no worries there.

Found out my folks bought a new car. A 2013 Chevy Traverse. It's a crossover suv type with seating for 8. They were due for a new car, the 2000ish pt cruiser had 147,000 miles on it. They will use this to travel since it should be comfortable and they can fold the seats down for the dog and whatnot. I'm glad they picked up something new and reliable.

Any big plans for the weekend?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Some work in the office this am and then off to the big city. If its nice enough I might take the GS out for a spin...

Enjoy Guru's.....enjoy your sanding Bill....

Yea, right.

I have to do it today - 50 degrees, got 2 days of crap weather coming in.

I have to pull the frame out into the driveway every time I go to work (C4 too).

Howdy! It's starting to warm up here for a few days before we plunge back into the deep-freeze. Mother Nature is being real entertaining this winter. Gonna make my first pilgrimage to the tanning place today. Later we're going out to dinner and then to see these guys, should be a good show:

Enjoy your Saturday, Gurus!

Being prepared.......

Environment Canada has issued a travel warning due to the snowfall and bad road conditions.

They suggest that anyone travelling in the current icy conditions should make sure they have the following:

Shovel
Blankets or sleeping bag
Extra clothing including hat and gloves
24 hours worth of food
De-Icer
Rock Salt
Flashlight with spare batteries
Road Flares or Reflective Triangles
Gas Can
First Aid Kit
Booster cables

I looked like a idiot on the bus this morning!

Afternoon guys....I've been working on some plans. Daughter/hubby had a couple builders come over and come up with plans to renovate their basement. Their plans SUCKED. We just spent the morning coming up with a more viable solution. I think what we came up with should be less expensive, more functional version. Now they can have the contractors go from our ideas.

About time to go get something to eat.

Welcome back, Mr. T-Bone!

I hadn't seen this particular version of a faux C1, but I think the proportions look kinda screwy:

I don't know if smaller particles is the answer to easier sanding.

The only way to make sanding easier is to get someone else to do it.
