Good Morning CGs!

Happy Mother's Day to all the wives and moms out there. We don't have much planned today. I will stop at the florist and pick up some flowers today and then we will head to the outlaws house after work for some dinner. Not a real big event around here. I have to call my mom, too. Don't forget all you guys out there.

Nice to see a few old faces popping in to say hello in the past few weeks. Corvette driving season is upon us so I expect to see a few more here and there and maybe we can get the tech section hopping again.

The CG Memorial Day Online Car Show should be starting up soon, so wash and wax those babies in the garage.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Hidey-ho! Nice and sunny for Mother's Day here, though not particularly warm. At least the wind isn't howling like yesterday. Gonna take the family and my MIL out to brunch later.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Everyone must be doing brunch today for the moms.

I posted a couple pictures in my trans cooler thread last night. Finally got everything mounted, just a few odds and ends to button up.

I wish I had a rocket launcher to use on the bodyshop that worked on the 67.

I just figured out that the fr. turn signal housings at the bottom of the fr. fender are different. One is almost 3/4 in. shorter than the correct one.

Now I have to take an aluminum plate and hand bend it into a compound curve to fit the bottom of the housing so the glass I put on doesn't sag.

DNBFS coming up soon, very soon.

Afternoon guys...I woke up early (4am), went to the bathroom then couldn't go back to sleep. Came downstairs and went to sleep in the lazyboy. Finally got around about 8. Went out to the garage and changed the oil in the Caddy. Then cleaned up the inside of the Caddy and the Corvette. That took care of about 4 1/2 hours. I offered the wife to take her to a movie, she said she'd rather work in the yard planting flowers we bought the other day. So I'm watching the Royals play.

It's a beautiful day here, low 80's and a light breeze. Possibly some rain later.

Oh, while out in the garage this morning, I ran across this LT1 gasket, timing cover I think, that if someone wants they can have it.

GM Part #10128293

Let me know if someone can use or wants this. otherwise I guess I'll pitch it out.

Just plain mats. I replaced them with the Lloyds logo mats.

Just settling in for the evening. Spent the day shopping. We were looking for a home theatre type loveseat but it had to be specific dimensions. At the last store we found a disontinued model that fits pefectly. They knocked off 25%. We took out a 5 year policy on it so no matter what happens, they fix it. It has an electrical recliner on both seats and a console between the seats. And yes .... cup holders. Realy nice. Basicly we got the warranty for free. Cat scratch, dog chew, pen, scrape, motor issue, rips, seams, all covered.

Nah! We gave the old love seat sofa/bed to the crew cheif. More of an upgrade for us. Same number of chairs (places to sit) as we had last week. More than 70 I think. Don't make me count them again.
