Good Morning.
I got up at 04:35. Did I want to get up at 04:35? No! As I lay in bed trying to go back to sleep, my mind, in it's infinite wisdom , decided it was a good time to start thinking about 4 specific problems. It could have waited till 06:30, but no, there is no time like the present, my mind responded.

My neighbor was working in his yard when he was startled by a late model car that came crashing through his hedge and ended up in his front lawn.

He rushed to help an elderly lady driver out of the car and sat her down on a lawn chair.

He said with excitement, "You appear quite elderly to be driving."

"Well, yes, I am," she replied proudly. "I'll be 97 next month, and I am now old enough that I don't even need a driver's license anymore."

"You don't need a driver's license anymore?!?"

"That's right! The last time I went to my doctor, he examined me and asked if I had a driver's license. I told him 'yes' and handed it to him. He took scissors out of the drawer, cut the license into pieces, and threw them in the waste basket, saying, 'You won't need this anymore'. So I thanked him and left!"

Should be warm again today with temps in the low 90's.

I hate it when I wake up early and I can't get back to sleep. I hate it worse when it happens on a day off that I planned on sleeping in. Well with some luck today Tommy you should be able to take a much needed nap break a couple times today.

Very hot here today but I am going to a seed corn field day this morning. It's where the seed corn company I sell seed for shows us all their new corn and soybean varieties for sale next year. They yak it up and we meander around in the test plots asking questions and then we all eat big steaks and then after lunch I come home and nap in the coolness of the air conditioning......meanwhile my employees are slaving in the hot sun checking fields....sometimes its good to be the king......

You remember I have been going around with Chevy about the fuel sensor going bad in my GS. They said they would not help with it since I am out of warranty on it. Got a call from them the other day out of the blue telling me to take it into an authorized Chevy dealer that sells Corvettes and they would take another look at it.......hmmmmmmm.....what's up there I wonder....

I own an 05 GMC Envoy and the fuel guage went out on it and there was a class action suit against GM and now they will pay half of the cost to fix even if you are way out of the warranty. Maybe they are worried that will happen with the Corvette also....

Ok....gotta go make the bed and clean everything up so the cleaning lady can clean up everything......

Morning guys... I hate it when I wake up and my mind starts its' day then. Golf wasn't too good last night, but it is about where I figured I should be. I'm with Marcus, just jump in the water to cool off, Brad. Another hot one today, maybe 100.

Well, I need to meander off to school.

One issue I was thinking about when I woke was my tilt trim motor for the boat. There is no part number on it and my boat motor is mixed. The lower unit is older than the engine. I brought the part up to Mercury and after a few head scratches it appears we have found the right replacement. Mercury wanted $619. An aftermarket company makes one for $251. Guess which one I chose? They can return it if it's wrong. I'm bringing up some part numbers I located just in case when I go to pick it up. My printer/fax just started acting up. It only goes to show ....... It's always somethin.

B.O.A.T.= Break Out Another Thousand. Now if your lucky this is per yr. If not it's per repair.

Must be something in the water... I woke up two hours early this morning also and thoughts of problems and other worries were meandering around in my mind keeping me from returning to my sleep too. With my math that's a whole day of sleep lost in one work week. Supposed to be hot and humid here again today but so far it's nice and breezy out. And yes Don... crap - it's only Tuesday....

It is about nap-thirty now - back from the river cruise. We had a nice day (I did jump in the river a couple of times to cool off), but damn, when we were putzing through the no-wake areas, it was TOASTY!

Hey guys, back at school finishing up a couple things I didn't get earlier. The first two weeks of school is busy, busy, busy getting your ducks in a row. Things will ease a bit after then (usually).

Working on the cabinet for the Dr. office I measured up last week. Got the OK to start. Headed home now to get started.

It was hot today 98 again....it's still 92 at nearly 7pm.

And that's how I feel after getting up at 04:30 without taking a nap. Getting up tomorrow at 04:00 to go pick up Sue at the airport. Plan on a 09:00 PM bedtime. Being tired should help with the early bedtime tonight. No plans for tomorrow. That's a good thing.

Quite a pitchers duel tonight, but the Royals beat Brad's Twinkies again.
