There are many parts of this government and those who wish to control it, that need a serious bitch slap.

In fact, something akin to a mace comes to mind.

The Tea Party wants to take us back to 1950, not just as a world power, but from a social perspective, too. It's easier to control masses when they are ignorant to reality.

The far left do want to move forward, but I think they are pushing too many agenda's too quickly - to such a point that they are causing the far right to recoil in such regressive thinking.

As for de-Americanizing? It would be the worst thing that could happen to us, and if the far right really wants us to be that super power, they would think twice about this game of chicken they are playing.

In short, there are a bunch of morons on the far right that need an education... Michelle Bachmann came out last week and said these are the "end days" and that Obama was going to unleash a terrorist war against America... it's that type of far right propaganda that comes right out of the Joseph Goebbels playbook of nasty tricks.

This group is smoking crack... I love the comparisons to NAZI's... assholes.

THE THOUGHT'S OF CHAIRMAN BILL:

ITEM: IS ANYONE REALLY STUPID ENOUGH TO THINK THAT THE PRC WISHES US WELL?

ITEM: OUR CONSTITUTION/FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WAS NOT DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONAL POLITICIANS NOR POLITICAL PARTIES. PARTY POLITICS IS MOST LIKELY INEVITABLE. STRICT TERM LIMITS CAN HELP CULL OUT PROFESSIONAL POLS.
TERM LIMITS HAVE REALLY BEEN GOOD FOR OKLAHOMA. JUST HOW YOU IMPOSE THEM ON THE BIG $$$ MOB IN DC, WELL, THAT'S BELLING THE CAT.

ITEM: IS ANYONE REALLY STUPID ENOUGH TO THINK THE BIG "INVESTMENT BANKS" MEAN WELL FOR ANYONE OUTSIDE THEIR EXECUTIVES AND BIG FINANCIAL BACKERS?

ITEM: A TWO PARTY SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK WHEN ONE PARTY OWNS THE MEDIA.

BACK TO THE FIFTIES? WONDERFUL IDEA! AMERICA'S GOLDEN AGE, TURNED TO DROSS BY THE POLITICAL LEFT.

IF WE ARE TO TALK NAZI IT WOULD BE WELL TO REMEMBER THE NSDAP WAS A SOCIALIST PARTY. THE INCESTUOUS RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SOCIALIST POLITICIANS AND BIG MONEY OUTFITS LIKE IG FARBEN, KRUPP, ET. AL. THAT TOOK PLACE IN 1930'S GERMANY IS BECOMING EVIDENT HERE AND NOW.

TEA PARTY PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO TELL YOU WHAT TO DRIVE, WHO TO ASSOCIATE WITH, NOR IT WISH TO TAX THE VERY AIR YOU BREATHE. THEY WANT TO DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES.

THAT IDEA SCARES HELL OUT OF OUR NATIONAL SOCIALIST PARTY.

We have to remember that for all its faults it is still the best country in the world with the best way of life. That is evedenced by the amount of folks who are desperate to get in here and settle down and go to work.

The problem is as I see it the liberal left continues to want to spend money they don't have or ever will have to prop up a population of people who's lifestyle it is to live on the handouts the gov't gives......and who the hell is China to be blowing smoke at us? If they have money its all been made on the backs of the common class who in turn have little to show for it. Let's see how far the liberals would get if we ran things like China does....it is still a communist country if I'm not mistaking....they are an enemy not a friend.....

There is nothing that won't fix here that hard work and jobs and the ousting of the liberal left from the power they now enjoy......and don't run the Bush presidency by me...I agree he screwed it up...but so is Obama....keep buying ammo.....I pray we don't ever need it....

China buys American debt. If China decides to give American bonds a junk rating, the idiots at the helm can raise the debt ceiling all they want but there will be a heavy price to pay. American debt is assumed safe but it won't be if it doesn't pay it's bills.

A 93-Year-Old Prophecy Comes True

"As democracy is perfected, the office of the President represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day, the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be occupied by a downright fool and complete narcissistic moron."

~H.L. Mencken,

China owns us....if they quit buying our gov't would have a hard time to make it work....you can't spend what you don't have....it's true for one person or a whole government...

I thought the republicas shut it down by not passing the spending overrides.....

I HAVE HEARD TELL IF YOU OWE THE BANK $1OOK THE BANK OWNS YOU. IF YOU OWE THE BANK $100M YOU OWN THE BANK. ME, I'D JUST AS SOON OWE NOBODY ANYTHING BUT COMMON COURTESY.

AS TO SHUTDOWNS, CONGRESS CAN NOT SHUT DOWN EXECUTIVE BRANCH OPERATIONS. THAT'S WHAT SEPARATION OF POWERS IN THE CONSTITUTION IS ALL ABOUT. THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES HAS CONSTITUTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE BUDGET. THEY HAVE ACTED ON THAT RESPONSIBILITY. THE EXECUTIVE HAS REFUSED EITHER TO ACCEPT THAT OR NEGOTIATE IN GOOD FAITH. OBAMA MUST HAVE HIS WAY, THOUGH THE HEAVENS MAY FALL.

Almost Bill. It's the senates responsibility to accept the money that the House gave them. It's the executive that has the responsibility to submit a budget. Which by the way hasn't been done in quite some time.

So the answer to the question is the SENATE shut the government down.

Here's a longer read about it.

Whom ever's responsibility it is it needs to be done and we need to let the country go into default.....we need to deal with it now not 2 years or 5 years or longer....now damit!

So China has a trillion dollars of our bonds...what interest are we paying on that? Can we even service the interest much less pay down on the priciple? I don't even know how many zero's there are in a trillion...but divide that by 300 million of us and what have you got that we all owe? A bunch I'm thinking....and that is just that debt.

Does it make a difference when you can print the money? Does that somehow exclude you from economic law?

Hell now I'm all fired up about this.....I must go to my happy place now....Ummmmmm....Ummmmm.....Ummmmm

but the far right want to return us to a socialistic dark ages.

Women and non-whites loose just about every legal protection that have earned in the last 50 years... gone...

These people are not trying to decide about important issues like taxes and such, they want to bury their heads in the sand and act like none of these problems exist... when they do.

Rick Santorum was more concerned about banning porn than fixing the economy. There are far right Tea Party people out there who don't believe that women can get pregnant from rape. I could go on, but the list makes me sick.

These are the people who don't want any form of social advancement, unless you are white male... and even tho I am one, I don't want the cards stacked in my favour that way.

As for the NAZIs, sure the big money came in, but you have to realize, everyone used the term "socialist" to oppose communism, because it sounded better than "fascist dictatorship". And fascists are, by nature, very right leaning conservative, with the left leaning desire for the government to control everything.

But in 1933 Germany, what money there was was being sucked away by the French and the damned war reparations, if that hadn't occurred, there would have not been Hitler; he would have had no real reason to exist.

As for today, Obama is the victim of perception as much as outright hatred. Do I approve of all of his policies? no, I don't, but I do think the administration has been screwed over by the far right.

Case in point, Bush starts the wars in Iraq and Afgan, and here we are, watching the right blame him for all the losses there and why haven't we gotten out yet. Can you say "hypocrites?"

As for budget, the POTUS has submitted budgets, the house won't discuss until ACA has been defunded. I call that a game of chicken, and neither side will negociate. The GOP refuses to budge on their stand, and the POTUS, who actually has the law on his side - SCOTUS has even declared is constitutional - won't budge.

Many years ago, Barry Goldwater said:

"On religious issues there can be little or no compromise. There is no position on which people are so immovable as their religious beliefs. There is no more powerful ally one can claim in a debate than Jesus Christ, or God, or Allah, or whatever one calls this supreme being. But like any powerful weapon, the use of God's name on one's behalf should be used sparingly. The religious factions that are growing throughout our land are not using their religious clout with wisdom. They are trying to force government leaders into following their position 100 percent. If you disagree with these religious groups on a particular moral issue, they complain, they threaten you with a loss of money or votes or both.
I'm frankly sick and tired of the political preachers across this country telling me as a citizen that if I want to be a moral person, I must believe in "A," "B," "C" and "D." Just who do they think they are? And from where do they presume to claim the right to dictate their moral beliefs to me?
And I am even more angry as a legislator who must endure the threats of every religious group who thinks it has some God-granted right to control my vote on every roll call in the Senate. I am warning them today: I will fight them every step of the way if they try to dictate their moral convictions to all Americans in the name of "conservatism."

- Speech in the US Senate (16 September 1981)

And:

"Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the [Republican] party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them."

- Said in November 1994, as quoted in John Dean, Conservatives Without Conscience (2006)

Mr Goldwater was right then, he is dead nuts on, now.

The problem is that the far right has forced the far left into a holding pattern... if the far left keeps conceding points, then the far right wins outright and we end up with one party. That is even worse than the mess we have now.

And as far as national debt goes? Well, the GOP invented deficit spending with Reagan in 1981... it was a good idea for a short term fix, but for a long term way of life, it's wrong and keeps growing the debt.

I don't want to hear the GOP crying about the debt problem they initiated 30 odd years ago.

one last thought on the subject...

We, as a nation, should demand that the president be as knowledgeable, intelligent and conversant, so they can stand toe to toe with the worlds brightest leaders.

However, the far right views that person as an "intellectual elitist"... in short, we are boned. Until the far right gets some self confidence back, we are in deep shit.

but the far right want to return us to a socialistic dark ages. WOULD THIS BE 1920'S TO 50'S IN STALIN'S RUSSIA?

Women and non-whites loose just about every legal protection that have earned in the last 50 years... gone...NONSENSE!

These people are not trying to decide about important issues like taxes and such, they want to bury their heads in the sand and act like none of these problems exist... when they do. SPENDING AND TAXES IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT RIGHT NOW.

Rick Santorum was more concerned about banning porn than fixing the economy. There are far right Tea Party people out there who don't believe that women can get pregnant from rape. I could go on, but the list makes me sick. WHILE ON THE LEFT ALL IS SWEETNESS, LIGHT, AND RATIONALITY?

These are the people who don't want any form of social advancement, unless you are white male... and even tho I am one, I don't want the cards stacked in my favour that way.THERE MAY BE SOME QUESTION AS TO JUST WHAT IS "SOCIAL ADVANCEMENT" DO YOU THINK?

As for the NAZIs, sure the big money came in, but you have to realize, everyone used the term "socialist" to oppose communism, because it sounded better than "fascist dictatorship". And fascists are, by nature, very right leaning conservative, with the left leaning desire for the government to control everything. COMMUNISM AND FASCISM ARE TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN, SECULAR RELIGIONS TO MASK TOTALITARIAN POWER. SIR (OR SAINT, IF YOU WISH) THOMAS MOORE DEFINED GOVERNMENT AS A CONSPIRACY OF RICH MEN. IN MY 70 YEARS I HAVE SEEN NOR READ NOTHING TO MAKE ME BELIEVE THIS IS NOT SO.

But in 1933 Germany, what money there was was being sucked away by the French and the damned war reparations, if that hadn't occurred, there would have not been Hitler; he would have had no real reason to exist. TOO TRUE. CHURCHILL WAS RIGHT: IN VICTORY, MAGNANIMITY IS THE WAY TO PEACE.

As for today, Obama is the victim of perception as much as outright hatred. Do I approve of all of his policies? no, I don't, but I do think the administration has been screwed over by the far right. THE FAR RIGHT NEVER HAD A CHANCE; THE ADMINISTRATION KEEPS SCREWING ITSELF AND THEY ARE STILL WAITING IN LINE.

Case in point, Bush starts the wars in Iraq and Afgan, and here we are, watching the right blame him for all the losses there and why haven't we gotten out yet. Can you say "hypocrites?" I BELIEVE THE ALLEGED PERPETRATORS YOU SPEAK OF ARE MOSTLY ON THE LEFT.

SOUNDS QUITE POLITICAL DOESN'T IT?

THE ONLY POSSIBLE WAY YOU CAN MAKE THE REPUBLICANS LOOK GOOD IS TO COMPARE THEM WITH THE DEMOCRATS.

And as far as national debt goes? Well, the GOP invented deficit spending with Reagan in 1981... it was a good idea for a short term fix, but for a long term way of life, it's wrong and keeps growing the debt. THERE WAS NO DEFICIT SPENDING, NO NATIONAL DEBT BEFORE 1981? NOW THAT'S A REVELATION!

I don't know how this conversation got around to blaming the Christian's for the mess we are in.....it's not our fault.....and what the hell has that got to do with anything anyway....we are talking about making a Government, whomever is in charge, monitarily responsible and keeping us out of financial chaos. Now do you really think the Obama administration has those ideals in mind? It's about the government not creating a majority of people who are dependent on that government for it's livelyhood. Thus prepetuating the breed....which means those people now in the majority have figured out how to vote themselves a raise..... That means the folks in charge have now guaranteed their job security. Which is totally a form of social engeneering.

Yea, debt started in 1836. Deficit spending certainly before 1981.

WELL, CHRISTIANS AND WHITE PEOPLE ARE AMONG THE FEW IDENTIFIABLE GROUPS THE POLITICALLY CORRECT FEEL FREE TO DENIGRATE AND RIDICULE.

BARRY GOLDWATER WAS THE MAN I SHOULD HAVE VOTED FOR MY FIRST TIME AT THE POLLS. INSTEAD I DRANK THE COOL AID AND VOTED FOR "LANDSLIDE LINDON" WHO SOON SENT ME OFF TO A WAR HE HAD NO IDEA HOW TO WIN.

I FIND IT SADLY IRONIC THAT GOLDWATER SHOULD CRITICIZE CHRISTIANS FOR HOLDING FAST TO THEIR RELIGIOUS BELIEF WHEN THAT IS THE VERY THING THAT KEPT THE JEWS JEWS FOR OVER TWO MILENA.

OR MAYBE NOT. I'M NOT A RELIGIOUS PERSON AND RARELY RESORT TO SUPERNATURAL EXPLANATIONS, BUT THE SURVIVAL OF THE JEWS IN THE FACE OF GENERAL DISAPPROBATION FOR ALL THESE CENTURIES IS RATHER SUGGESTIVE.

Yes, scorch the earth and poison the well. These are great policies to support, everyone should be happy with them. Bunch of dummy's out there, don't know if they want us to shoot ourselves in the foot or just get it over with and aim for the head! Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Actually the blame goes further back. Enter Mitt Romney.

Actually try going back to the Heritage Foundation as they were the developers of the Affordable Care Act.

I don't think we want to get on the wrong side of the Jews....Those who bless Isreal will be blessed and those whe curse Isreal will be cursed.....Gen 12:2-3

The Government or anybody else in power sure doesn't criticize the non militant Muslums for holding onto their beliefs and I'm sure they have a few ideas on how they would run this country....

"I have a premonition that will not leave me," wrote Eric Hoffer, America's great longshoreman philosopher, after the '67 war. "As it goes with Israel so will it go with all of us."

I THINK IT WAS POGO THAT SAID "WE HAVE MET THE JEWS AND THEY ARE US."
