Happy Sunday. Last one of 2013! I hope to do a whole lot of weekend stuff today. I would like to take the Xmas lights down since it will be so nice out. We also want to go to Ikea and I'd like to go to HF, as well.

Went to our cousin's son's bday party last night. It was a lot of fun, but we didn't leave until pretty late. Kids were having so much fun they didn't want to leave but were exhausted. So everyone slept in late today, we'll see how they are acting later.

The wind howled as the front went through last night. The wind isn't howling now, but it sure is cold. They say we might be at our high for the day at 21. We'll be heading home yet this morning. It's been a good 4 days but it will be good to get back home.

Wow....stayed in bed till 9.....I'm still only 2nd string at best compared to the master....

It's 7 degrees here windy.....so winter has returned. Still no moisture though and that is not right.

Today....I don't know.....I have some new door sill plates to put on the GS but don't have a heat gun to soften up the glue under the stock ones. Will a hair dryer get hot enough?

I am thinking of buying an M4 5.56 rifle and they have a Sig Sauer out at Wally world for under a thousand with a scope on it.......any opinions from the extreme right wing gun nuts....they also have one for 1100 bucks but the guy did not know anything about the diferences between the two.

OK, I was just outside loading the cars....it's COLD. Glad the wind isn't howling, as the stiff breeze makes it below zero in wind chill.

Marcus, I'd bet the hair dryer on high would soften that adhesive enough to get those off.

Greetings! It is a balmy -2 out there, which is 50 degrees colder than yesterday's high. Long sleeves may be in order. Meanwhile, when I am elected, it will be illegal to call a residence before 10AM. More tile-laying is on the agenda today, and in the background, the Viqueens will be playing their last game at the Metrodump. I imagine they're glad to be playing indoors, unlike the next 2 years.

Christmas here all came down yesterday and the house got back in order,dishes laundry,all of it. Need to air up the tires on the car and head to the nursing home, drop off that $4500 check for her stay and visit with her and take all her Christmas stuff to put into storage. Supposed to be decent weather hear today, sun has been out some but probably won't stay that way.

Made it home in good shape, the ole Merc drives pretty nice. Floats down the highway.....She did about 22mpg, that includes letting her sit and warmup about 20 minutes before we left. I'm happy with my purchase.

I'm still plugging away at the tile - I think I can see light at the end of the tunnel. But it is a very long tunnel.
