Morning guys...no need to get into a hurry. I got things to do, but nothing really pressing. Gris, that is some show. Takes a pretty good sized building to hold that many tables

With that much too look at I'd be giving most just a cursory glance. I'm doing a little clean up/organizing this AM. Have a few errands to run. Full day today, tomorrow, the day after that and so on and so on and so on. 1 week till we head to the boat. Bringing plenty of bug spray and sun screen on the trip.

Holy Moly....now that's a gun show....yikes! If you can't find it there I'm thinking they don't make it....

Sunny here and will do some outside work getting the deck in order for the big chill coming next week. Got the GS backed into its winter stall so may or may not take it to church tonight. It needs an oil change I am down to 25% on the DIC. Once a year works out about right for me.

Tom how is 007 doing? Have you been driving it much?

Have a great day Guru's......yehaaaaa

That's a big gun show... surely you can find what you want/need in that place.
Sunny here and supposed to be about 60. Need to get the car cleaned up. Did the inside of the truck yesterday - was stuck at the shop by myself waiting on a motor to be delivered for a customer, owner was at a funeral, other gal would rather be home drinking beer and smoking pot... (rolleyes)..
I need to rake up and burn the leaves and go to Wal Mart - not up for either one...
The Alice Cooper/Motley Crue concert was great, small venue so there weren't really any bad seats at all. I saw more flames/fireworks and what not in one show that I've seen in several others combined. Alice Cooper's new guitar player Nita Strauss is awesome - and easy on the eyes for you men. She is also a friend of my friend Tim's whom I went to the concert with. She has played with Femme Fatale, etc. and I think was introduced to Cooper by someone with Iron Maiden. Tim knows the story. He got to talking to her online and when they are here playing he will go to the shows and meet her, they text each other and what not and talk back and forth. Once she was done playing and Crue came on stage she started texting him and he got up out of his seat and was gone for a few minutes to meet her for a bit to chat. Geez, lucky dude.

Greetings! I'd better get some chores done today - the forecast for tomorrow night contains the words "measurable snow". Ducky.

Sounds like fun, Letty! From what I gather, Alice Cooper is a great guy. He often goes to some golf course wherever he is touring, and joins up with a random group of golfers.

Have a good day, yawlz!

Good afternoon, all.

Got back from Austin yesterday evening. This morning, changed from the all season tires to the winter performance tires on the Impala.

Winter is coming: there's a chance of snow for Friday ...

Got most of my work done already - I picked up some more leaves, whatever is left out there will either rot or blow off to parts unknown. Got the snowblower running, pounded in my orange yard stakes and took care of a few other things. Now I'm watching the Gophers put a whuppin' on Iowa.

That's a cool picture. Back when I was heavy in photography, we did some of those "illusions"

Hung a shelf that I made yesterday, this morning. Then our to the shop to build a cabinet for my daughter. Decided that in the near future, I would build new cabinets for our house and take the ones there now and fit them into #2's kitchen. Her's are original to the house (built in 1960) and not real good shape anymore. So the one I built today is going to match the ones in our house now.

I've, kind of, started figuring what it will take for new cabinets in our house. I still have some doors to build for some "rather large" shop cabinets I, and a couple students, are building for some, unnamed, Corvette owner. I've run back and forth on the options, and have decided that they are going to be paneled doors. They are so big, I'm afraid of them warping if I build them as "slabs". I'm going to cut the C6 emblem into each of the doors and maybe add something about 2010 GS, or Quicksilver, or something like that. I want to make it subtle.

As far as 007, it's still on the lift. I did drop it down today and replaced the outside door switches. They were non-responsive at times and through some research found it was a common problem that could be fixed by taking it apart cleaning the electrical components, but new and "Improved" switches were only $12/each, so I ordered two new ones and installed them. I then took the old ones apart and found the same thing most other found, corrosion. A little electrical component cleaner, 1500 grit sandpaper, some dielectric grease and 15 minutes I've got a spare set of switches ready to go if the need arises.

I cannot, in good conscience, recommend bringing home a Papa Murphy's pizza and then burning the bejeezus out of it. I imagine the smell should go away by spring.

Well, home from the PHEASANTS FOREVER banquet. The Chest was a big hit and sold for $425. I got several leads for more work too. The guy that bought it, I've known for many years (32) and we have already agreed to meet so I can do some more work for him.

It's been a pretty day here. Looking forward to tomorrows weather.
