Morning guys.... didn't get to bed too early, so slept a little later. Been working on the DELL computer from H3ll. Started as just get it authenticated, but it is so full of crap it won't run. I've worked and worked to remove all the crap 2600 malware items, 2200 registry errors, viruses popping up constantly. And popups so bad that it is hard to do anything on the web.

Thinking it might be time to just cut the losses and format the drive and reinstall.

CLOUDY AND 40 DEGREES. THE CHEROKEES ARE WAITING FOR THE PROMISED SNOW. THERE ARE TWO THINGS I DISLIKE ABOUT SNOW, IT'S COLD AND IT'S WET. OTHERWISE IT'S OK TO LOOK OUT THE WINDOW AT WHILE I'M WARM INSIDE.

Howdy! The sun is shining, and we'll have a high "near 17" today - it's about halfway there. Balmy. Kill me now.

Do I sense some impending assembly, Bill? I do see a snowblower in that last pic, so my garage is similar except for the Corvette part. There was an interview in Car & Driver with the "Golden Greek" Chris Karamesines you'd probably get a kick out of - he's a man after your own heart. He hasn't missed a season of racing since 1952.

Enjoy your Sunday, Gurus!

Tried to post earlier but lost everything....my home laptop is sick again...I am about ready to go to a Mac...I can't keep the viruses off the pc's.......

Well the Huskers had a classic melt down yesterday that is now know in the State as the November Shame.....glad we could provide their running back with a 408 day record performance......I predict heads may roll in Lincoln after that debacle....Minnesota next week and all of a sudden they are not afraid....

Cold here and severe clear....0 degrees when I got up and may not reach 20.....damn cold out there.....

May watch some to the Homestead race today.....I can always get a good nap in watching NASCAR.....

Have a good day off Guru's....

Car looks good Bill.....what's next up on the list? Chassis?

No other place to store the blower, have to pull it out whenever I want to work. I only ran the thing 15 minutes all last year.

Saw Chris running in the late 1960's.

Yea, u can see the frame under there, it was wrapped in plastic for the paint booth.

Had to lay out $1,500 worth of new parts on the floor cause I forgot what all I had ordered. I only need a couple more new bolts but I forgot to order paint for the rear leaf spring (have to pull a brand new leaf spring totally apart just to paint it).

Sure is nice to handle parts that aren't rusty.

My wife told me she heard that if the forecast holds up, this will be the coldest November since 1880. I remember that one, it was a bitch.

Wow you must be older than I thought....

Didn't we just have summer here a week ago? Tonight we have 1-3 inches of snow due to start any minute.. high the next two days of only 30 and lows around 18.. what the hell? I am SO not made for this crap. Spent $200 on a couple new infrared heaters that are supposed to heat up to 1000 sq ft. Two of those will be better than one other kind of little heater in each room. This place is set up for gas heat but to use that I also have to run that huge central unit out back which means I have a huge gas bill PLUS an increased electric bill - tried it and for an apartment it doesn't make sense to pay nearly $300 for heat, when I can use these heaters and have only a light bill for around $100. It's not toasty in here but it's tolerable.
Those of you who have long term temps in the teens and lower and bunches of snow - how the heck do you stand it?
Cool car pic Bill - getting ready for assembly?
