Good Morning CGs!

Put in a hard day of work yesterday around the house....cutting the grass, trimming bushes, cleaning up the garage....my punishment for a good deed was a nice little sunburn. Oh well. It's actually not too bad, nothing a little aloe vera can't fix. I did take a dip in the pool yesterday for the first time this season. A balmy 71*....brrrrr. Better than 68, though. Supposed to be another scorcher today, 89* later.

I tinkered with the car yesterday and changed the PS fluid again (had some water in it). I would like to get the whole rack and undercarriage degreased later if I can. I bought some LA's totally awesome cleaner the other day at the dollar store. It gets rave reviews. I did a little cleaning with that and a rag and it seemed to work well.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Uyimwiki!

Busy, busy, busy. Meanwhile, my wife has to go out of town for a couple days, so I'll have to bach it - I see an extended nap and junk food in my future.

Have a good day, Gurus!

Mother comes in today with sonny-boy. I'm pulling a Matt today with the house cleaning, lawn, garage thing. No sunburns for me though. Having had basil cell removed from my face on several occasions I am a consistent user of sunscreen products. A little late though. Should have had some on 50 years ago. I had the house pretty well straightened out and wifey brought home a ton of $#!+ from a pack rat friend of hers house. The lady is moving and the house that is said to be stacked from floor to ceiling. Movers are moving the stuff to a warehouse. And that's how the storage joints make millions, storing crap instead of getting rid of it. We have a lot of stuff but it does not impeded passage ........ yet. I really could turn a pretty penny selling stuff on ebay. One of these days I'll do just that.

How's this for a PR power play. She had already been paid for the car so technically the car belonged to Allstate. They saw an opportunity for some good PR and jumped all over it. Too bad for the owner that got the shaft.

Thanks, but no thanks, Gris....

Got the first inspection done this morning, everything good to go to the next step, which we've been pursuing this morning. Electrical work this afternoon, so inspector can come look at that before we insulate and rock.

another long day. Got pretty warm this afternoon, mid 90's and the humidity was high, so it felt much warmer. Ready for next inspection and then insulation and rock.

Sitting here now, after supper we went down to watch #2 GS play some basketball. He's really improving.

I'm sitting here watching my Royals whip those Twinkies, decided that a margarita would taste good (which it did), but it's hitting me now.
