Good Morning CGs!

Well if you read yesterday's chat, the a/c was broken. Luckily my neighbor owns a commercial hvac company and he was able to get me the new capacitor for cost - $7. Put that bad boy in and she fired right up. The cap feeds extra power to the fan and compressor for start up.

Not much on the agenda today. Probably a swim in the pool and run some errands, maybe cut the grass.

Anyone else have big plans?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings!

We had a good, but toasty time at the tournament yesterday. We were well off the pace of the winners, but I won $40 for closest to the pin on one hole, and 2 free rounds of golf in a raffle (about $60 per round there). Gonna be tropical again today, so I'd better get out there and mow before it gets any hotter.

Glad to hear you got your A/C working again, Matt!

Keep cool, Gurus!

Phew, that was hot! We're heading over to a friend's pool party later, wish I could've jumped in right off of the mower.

There are lots of pics in the gallery here from the St. Paul Street Machine Nationals:

Drove in the parade, car show wasn't much. Sat in the shade then came home and washed the pickup. Got a call from a friend who needed help filling out some on-line forms. Took a nap and now ready to go to church....tough day.

Race car is back running. No fuss no muss.

My repaired MSD Opti for the 92 came Fedx not 15mins after I walked in the door.... so I figured I go ahead and get it fixed up as well. Got it on and realized I never ordered any water pump gaskets... gaskets won't be here till tomorrow. I did however fire it up for a few mins and it runs better than ever. So crisp and responsive to the throttle.

STILL SUMMER IN THE NATIONS. WE ARE BEGINNING TO DRY OUT SOME. SOON IT'LL BE DRY ENOUGH TO MOW AGAIN :-(

SMALL GUNSHOW, FAIR CROWD, NOT MUCH BUYING. OIL SLUMP HAS SOME WORRIED AND SOME OUT OF WORK, NOBODY THROWING MONEY AROUND. MAYBE TOMORROW WILL BE BETTER. DID FIND SOMETHING I'VE LOOKED FOR FOR YEARS: A TM FOR THE ORIGINAL STARLIGHT SCOPE.
