Good morning, all!

Raining in the Philadelphia area today—hoping to get a bunch of things done.

Good Morning CGs!

Back to the hospital today in the morning. My mom and aunt will be there in the evening. We are working on getting dad moved to a rehab facility on Monday. Hope it all goes smoothly.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Howdy! I don't like to brag, but I set a new personal sleep-in record for the year. Meanwhile, I have to get out there and mow the estate before it rains later.

Good luck, Matt!

Have a good day, yawlz!

Oh, joy! The engine on my riding mower blowed up real good. Now I get to decide whether to replace the engine or the whole shebang - it's 11 years old.

New one unless you want to replace the pulleys, belts and blades. Check the tires while your at it ... or ... check the classifieds.

Yeah, I am leaning toward a new one - I figure with my luck, I'd put a new engine in it, and the hydraulics would immediately take a dump.

While I was out mowing, a group of about 10 newer Challengers went by - there must be a club nearby. I gave 'em a thumbs-up.

On the plus side it's probably the last riding mower you'll ever have to buy. ;)

Hey guys, I slept in, then went out to the shop to work on things. Helped #2 daughter move a recliner from the house of one of her clients (a husband and wife) to the nursing home where they had to move her a few weeks back. She has Alzheimer's bad. She doesn't remember my daughter any more and just gets PO'd when her husband comes by, because she knows he's the one who put her there. It really kills him that she acts like that, even though he knows it isn't "her". Any way she asks "Who's paying for this?" Daughter says, "it's fom me". She says "Well, I won't need it long, I'm going home tomorrow. You can come pick it up tomorrow." Daughter, "Well, you try it for a few days and if you don't like it we'll come get it." She says, "Oh, I think I'll keep it. It's a very nice chair."

Her husband told us it was here favorite chair.

After that worked in the shop the rest of the day. Took some time to make graduation presents. And some other little projects on the lathe.

Went to church and Rosie made a nice supper. Had #2 and #2 GS over to eat.

Royals are getting their butts kicked tonight. Have had their opportunities, but haven't capitalized on them.

Hope things work out for your dad, Matt. Brad, sucks about the mower. Ain't going to be cheap, I have a feeling. Marcus, I hope things work out for finding a good place for your mom and step-dad.

It was warm today, but pretty windy. I would love to get the Corvette out tomorrow, but not sure if I'll have an opportunity to do so.
