Good Morning CGs!

Still dealing with a lot of personal stuff on the family front. Dad is supposed to be moved from the hospital to a rehab facility today. As long as the hospital doesn't screw that up, like everything else they've done. He was already supposed to be there Saturday, but that's a whole different story.

Brad - belated congratulations on the anniversary.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys...First off, a belated 40th anniversary Brad. Sounds like you had a great time.

I was busy in the shop most of the day yesterday. I got a few things going for the week. Rosie is off to Wichita in a bit for three days of meetings, so I'll be batching.

Looks to be another nice day here, temps in the upper 70's and a little breeze. Supposed to get bumpy tomorrow, possibly. Bring on the rain, is what I say.

Have a great day gurus.

Greetings! The alarm clock was a most unwelcome sound this morning, could've used more shut-eye after all that chow. But the grindstone calleth.

Thanks again, yawlz - we had a fun weekend.

Have a great day, all!

CLOUDY AND COOL IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. NOTHING MUCH ON THE AGENDA TODAY, OTHER THAN THE MONDAY AUTO ROTATION. IF I COULD WORK UP SOME MOTIVATION I'D MOW THE OBSTACLE COURSE. OR I COULD GO TO THE RIFLE RANGE, IT'S A LITTLE WINDY FOR ZEROING THOUGH.

MATT, HOPE ALL GOES WELL WITH YOUR DAD.

What is your “fair share” of what someone else has worked for?

On a positive note, you've been at the wheel for many moons. One day your turning will be over. Someone just entering the workforce has a lifetime of achievement to look forward to. Glad it's not me ..........

Took a few shots from around the yard yesterday. Quality of the photos is questionable but you'll get the idea.

4 of the 9 holes of the putt putt course I built in the front yard a year and a half ago. Some areas to sit and watch the birds, butterflies and occasional passers-by. And last, a shot from my driveway looking east. That's just the front yard. I'll take and post some backyard pics sometime soon.

There are 9 holes. You play 9 one way, then 9 the other gives you a full 18. Well, off to shower and get to work. Time waits for no one .......

Well, worked in the shop most of the day. Screwed up making a jig, tried to fix it, screwed it up worse. So back off and regroup on it. Finished a wedding present for nephew getting married in July. Rosie is invited to a shower for the bride in a couple weeks and Rosie and I did our signature present. She crochets the family name and I make a hanger for it. This one had a little special meaning as I used some wood from a wall divider taken out of Rosie's Dad's house to make the hanger. Nephew has always adored his grandparents and I think/hope that this gift will mean quite a bit more than just a hanger made by me. The wedding gift, again a tradition we have done for nearly all the nieces and nephews (close to 15), is a quilt rack I designed.

I worked in the yard, too, today. I trimmed the edging of the driveway and did "tree-IV" on two of the trees giving it an iron booster. We have very iron deficient soil and these two trees always turn yellow if we don't give them the boost.
