Greetings! We had a good time out at the Ryder Cup yesterday - the setup is top-notch. Traffic was horrible though, and I was tempted to moo several times while in line waiting for the shuttle back to the parking lot. Chilly and windy yesterday, hope it will warm up over the next few days for them.

Have a good day, all!

Morning guys....Another cool start to the day here, 49, but looking to get to 80. I can take that. I worked into the evening on the new router. Figured out that I need one new motor and a gear. One of the guys on the CNC forum had what I need at a good price, so I pulled the trigger on those. I had three calls yesterday, one cabinet work and two computer calls. I need to see about those things today.

Lumber coming today for the Pheasants Forever project, I need to get on that too. Always lots to do around here.

Matt, I understand about the tools, I have the same problem, only with woodworking tools. Bill, the steering column is looking good. I bet you had to really think about it, if it has been that long since you took it apart. Steve, I hope it cools down for you soon.

Have a great day

I'm baaaack...........it was 35 degrees in Evanston Wy yesterday when I left......took me 11 hours to make the 760 miles back to the home 20....yeah I moved right along....with only a couple of 10-100 stops.......that's hard driving........the GS is one of the few cars I have had that I can do that and not be a cripple by the end of the day........I made my own sandwiches with some King's Hawaiian rolls and some Oberto's beef jerky....real road warrior food........and I could never drive like that without XM radio to keep me entertained.......Fox news and Classic Vinyl......

Today I will start to get back into it.......looking forward to that.......not so much......amazing they are having big golf this late in the year up in your country Brad......if it had been a week ago......yikes.......

enjoy your day Guru's.......

Yea, Tom, probably took an extra half hour to figure what goes where. The page in my AIM is missing which didn't help (all the reprints of the AIM are missing a few pages).

And I'm still missing the support plate to bolt the column in.

But I can't put it in any until the windshield wiper motor gets restored. And it's fighting me big time.

Welcome back..........who are you again???

In all these years of driving Corvettes, that's been the same.
Drove C2's cross country, 3,000 miles, felt great every time I got out of the car. My C3 was the same.
The C4, 6 hours to Laguna Seca, felt great.

In any other car and definitely in my Silverado towing the race trailer, after 2 hours, I'm bitching, moving around in the seat, etc.

THERE ARE TWO REASONS TO GET ON A BOAT:
1. TO CATCH A FISH
2. TO GET TO THE OTHER SIDE

USELESS TRIP, THEY DIDN'T CATCH A DAMN THING :-)

MY CORVETTE REPAIR GUY IS SELLING HIS C3, REALLY NICE CAR, GREAT PAINT JOB.

Tell the repair guy I want it. I can't buy it but I want it. Yet another reason I need a visit from the folks at Publishers Clearing House. I would be one of the coolest rich guys around.

Wifey has added another dog in need of a home to the menagerie. His name is Diesel. He's a two year old Yorkie. We had four, lost two and now back to three. He's a cute and smart little booger in probably the 7/8 pound range. The rule is you have to get along with all the other pets and the providers. So far he's past the test. Birds, cat, pigs and other dogs. Guess he realized who are the bosses around here. When you have as many to care for as us, one more is no big deal. Just another bowl at feeding time. I'll post a pic when I have one. Hhhmmmm, if they live 13-16 years I guess they'll be around to keep Sue company.

Ha-ha Bill, you made a funny. Tommy, I like your choice, I've always thought E-types were cool cars.

Well, my lumber came this afternoon and I got quite a bit done on the Pheasants Forever table.
