Howdy! Congrats to the Cubbies - I imagine goat will be a popular menu item in Chicago today. I had to go to bed when the rain delay started, so I didn't see the finish, but I figured the outcome would be in all the newspapers. Meanwhile, I managed to clean up most of the leaves yesterday, so it's nice to be semi-caught up with yardwork.

I was hoping the Cubs would break their drought. Watched to the end. Slept in a little later. Sat in the jacuzzi last night for awhile. I never understand why it loosens me up for the evening but the next morning I wake up tighter and achier than usual. Still, I'm gonna do it again from time to time.

Morning guys....I watched it to the end as well. Last year Royal, Ben Zobrist, was the hero. I certainly wish we had not traded him, he would have been great for our team. I don't know if he would have made a difference to our season, but he and his family were so loved and accepted by the Royal fans. He and his wife, who had a baby last year right before the world series, named the baby 'Royal'. We wish we could have kept him.

I didn't let the computer get the best of me. I got it working correctly this morning. Sucker can't beat me.

Because of the computer, I haven't got a lot done in the shop this morning. Did talk to a client and picked up a job for my router as soon as it gets up and running.

The weather is clear and cool this morning. Looking for highs in the upper 60s.

It's absolutely summer like and beautiful out here today. Rain due this evening them temps will finally start their normal decent. I dread it. Been hassling with loan paperwork off and on this morning closing is set for 18th. I swear sure as I'm sitting here I'll never buy another house again unless I have the cash to pay outright for it. This is nuts.
Lost a good job at the office today - was set to start printing on the Kennett MO school bus and plug pulled at the last minute. Seems one official failed to do his homework as repeatedly asked by another school member and if you receive state funds you cannot alter your school bus. They must remain yellow and everything must remain as it was delivered. I told them I understood, sent bill for my time per their request and told them if they buy a coach bus bring me that. Crap happens.

Another unseasonably warm day here in the 60s. More great Vette weather.

Good for Cubs, glad a Chicago team won.
I didn't have to watch the game, the fireworks that work me up at midnight let me know they won....

Stopped at Honda and test drove a couple of cars. Once the Audi is returned I will be getting a lightly used Accord EX-L V6. Nice car. Manager will get me one with low miles and CPO it. Not as good of mileage as the diesel, but still a very nice car nonetheless.
