Noticed that the harder you work the faster the time passes and you say "Where did this month go?". Yesterday I got the carport washed and pressure cleaned. No small task. It's a 3 car, two golf cart carport. Looks like new again. I should do it every 6 months but this time I let it go for a year. From what I see when I drive around town is that many people think "You're supposed to clean these things?". Those are part of the same group that apparently don't know that you're supposed to take down the Christmas lights after the season is over. I remember when people had respect for their property and took pride in their possessions. A much more rare commodity these days. Not the gurus though. Tried, tested and true.

Here are pics from when the carport was built in 2011. I'm really glad we did this. That carport provides excellent cover for the cars.

Maybe Trump supporters feel like it's Christmas all year. ....................... Oooohhhhhhh!

Ya, a lot of Christmas light early birds this year. I wait till the day after Thanksgiving usually. Last year I had them down right after New Year's Eve.

Howdy! Working from home today, still not feeling particularly well. Glad we bought Kleenex in bulk at Costco. Speaking of Costco, try the chicken taquitos in the frozen section - plenty good for a halftime snack.

Have a good day, Gurus!

I could use one of those carports - but it would need to handle a pretty good snow load ;-)

SUNNY AND NOT SO COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, ANOTHER PRETTY DAY COMING UP. THE CHEROKEES ARE PLEASED.

AN OPEN AGENDA FOR THE DAY, AT LEAST UNTIL DARLING WIFE COMES UP WITH SOME T-DAY PREP TASK FOR ME. THE WHOLE CLAN IS COMING HERE, MINUS #1 GRANDSON WHO WILL BE DINING WITH PROSPECTIVE IN-LAWS.

I WONDER WHEN THE NATIONAL SOCIALIST HYSTERICS WILL FIGURE OUT THE ELECTION IS OVER AND THEY LOST.

Morning guys....OK, quit talking about ME. We put the Christmas lights up yesterday and they were on last night. Mostly, because I just wanted to make sure the timer was set right, and partly because, Rosie wants things set up for Thanksgiving. This is the first year in many we will be home, and #3 will be here, so Rosie is wanting to show those grands how we do Christmas. It's OK I can live with it.

Some work in the shop after while, so should go start on that. Supposed to be in the mid 60s today and then more November-like the rest of the week. If, I'm going to do anything outside, I'd better do it today.

THE CAR PORT LOOKS NICE. IS IT ENTIRELY FABRIC? IN OKLAHOMA IT MIGHT TEND TO BECOME AIRBORNE ;-)

Yes, vinyl fabric. It will take some pretty gusty winds but it would be history in a hurricane. Might make it through a Cat 1 hurricane. It's 5 years old noe. Usual life is about 10 years but mine looks to be in pretty good shape. I think the fabric will go 10 years with no problem.

Day started off like crapola. Pump on a mobile sprayer took a dump. Next a leaky valve stem on the skid steer. Did some shopping after that then mowed the nurseries. Came home and replaced some spotlights. Then it was relax time. Lit a fire in the fire pit. Sue wanted to toast some jumbo marshmallows. BBQ some mixed meats then had dinner.

Delivery tomorrow morning then we'll see how the day unfolds. Plenty to fill the void. Later

Was cold here today.

Ice maker quit working on the new fridge. I read it might be related to low water pressure so I removed the filter and ordered a new one. If that doesn't work, I'll call for a repairman. It's under warranty, I just hate waiting.

Stopped at Honda today after work and did the paperwork for the car. I won't pick it up until Friday because that's when I can get over there with two people in order to get it home. I'm happy with the deal we worked. Ended up with the full 100k bumper to bumper warranty with zero deductible. Hopefully that lasts a while since the car only has 13,800 miles. Not looking forward to catching payments lasting a while...but it'll get paid off after than the 60 months I financed it for. I'll get some pictures up later.

Hope everyone had a great day!

It didn't quite make the mid 60s here either, Marcus. It was cloudy all day too. more seasonal like tomorrow and the rest of the week. Maybe a little moisture tomorrow too. I hope so, we are very dry.
