Glad you're feeling better, Andy and Steve. I wasn't feeling too well myself yesterday but it seems to have passed.

We got about 6" of snow dumped on us yesterday. Snowblower worked well, but had a problem with the chute rotation. Ended up ripping that apart and found the Teflon "washer" was gummed up with old grease and old paint. I cleaned it up and lubed it with some thin Teflon impregnated oil. Now it turns easily.

Have to drop the kids off at school and then have some errands to run.

SEMI-SUNNY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. GUNSHOW WAS A DUD, EXCEPT FOR THE COMPANY OF "OUR GANG" WHO SHARE AN ISLAND OF TABLES. DID BUY FOUR RC QUADCOPTERS FOR GRANDSONS CHRISTMAS.

TODAY I MUST GET SON'S CHRISTMAS GIFT ON ORDER AND PUT NEW TIRES ON THE PICKUP. "UGG, THAT NOT BE CHEAP"

GOING WITH MY GUNSHOW BUDDY TO HOT SPRINGS, ARK. TOMORROW TO DELIVER SOME SLOT MACHINES. SORT OF A "COAL TO NEWCASTLE" EXERCISE :-)

Morning guys...Was really tired, so slept in this morning. It's a pretty cool start to the day, 25, but is supposed to warm up to low 60s. Bottom drops out tomorrow fo the next several days and we have a chance for the white crap tomorrow night into Wednesday. And it's not supposed to get above freezing for several days. Not looking forward to that. Friday this week I go back up to the technical school where my former student teaches to do a lesson on cabinetmaking and door making. going to give a lesson on sharpening tools too.

Steve, glad you're feeling better. You too Andy. Gris, sounds like tough duty. Matt, if everything worked as it should when you get it out to use it, then you'd have nothing to do....right?

Well I felt like crap yesterday also and was sneezing and nose running...took some NyQuil before bed and now feel pretty good......snow all gone sun is out and its Monday and I have a lot to do.......

#2 daughter won some national contest and is on an all expenses paid trip to LA with her fiancee to attend the premiere of La La Land......which I guess is a movie that all the millennials are waiting for.....They get to meet the stars and go to the after premiere party and such......they put them up in a fancy hotel out there.........much excitement for the younger crowed.........

...like all things these days we had to do a search to make sure it wasn't a scam.......but after many calls it was found to be legit......she's excited....she is kinda the glitz and glam daughter......

La La Land....seems to be where most of the people I deal with come from...

This morning I went over to a good friends house (who broke his ankle about a month ago by walking off a roof). Last week when I saw him at the b-ball game, he asked if I could put an "Oh Sh!t" bar next to his shower, so he could get into and out of the shower stall. I told him I had several that I had accumulated over time as I removed them from remodels. So I went over to put that up for him. Then, while I was there, they had me look at his computer as it was running slow, so I spent the rest of the morning cleaning up the computer. I AM going to get to the shop and do some work out there today. Headed there now.

LaLa Land? haven't heard about it, but sounds a bit like the wedding I attended Saturday night.

Just got back from a "Quickie" on the Victory.The ship is older but we enjoyed it. Great casino staff and hosts. My wife got a DOU card after the first night but I did not. She bets a little bigger than I do. No matter, we are not drinkers. No babies on board but I did get to play them in Nassau at Atlantis. Put in a $100. Pushed it up to $240 on the .72 light bet then moved up to 1.66 at which time the machine went into a slumber and quickly reacquired my hard fought gains. My wife played 3 card poker at Atlantis and hit a couple of solid hands leaving comfortable when we left. I played the one and only wild buffalo slot back on the ship and turned $100 into $450. Made good money on the first night of the cruise and maintained it throughout basically doubling my gambling budget. Sue was able to nearly triple what she brought to spend. All in all we can say we had a fun short cruise and made a few bucks doing it. .... We were due.

Ooops. Almost forgot. I won the Hot Seat promotion for the first time. I never get my name called for any extras but somehow this trip was lucky. I picked the low denomination envelope. $50. Was playing 3 card poker and thought I would try to turn that $50 into something better ...... and I did. Played the $50 on one hand and paired up. Next hand hit a big one that paid me over $400. From that point on and for the rest of the cruise none of my gambling money came out of my pocket. I sure hope that doesn't spoil me. ;)
