Howdy! Jeez, tropical here compared to Marcus, 6 degrees, but wind chill is -14. Tonight the actual temp will be -21, hasn't been that cold in some time. I will likely be indoors. Meanwhile, the plow just came by, so I imagine after a cup of joe, I'll head out and do battle with the snow.

Morning guys...cold here too, about like Brad, 6 with the wind howling. Not much snow though. We need the moisture bad, so we'll take it in whatever form we can get it.

I do have things to do in the shop and have a computer call to make as well. Not excited about that one, about 8 miles south of town. Ooops, the temp just went down another degree.

We slept in this morning, didn't figure there was a huge reason to get up and the bed felt nice and warm. Well, I'd better find some coffee.

Heat wave here...22* now. We were supposed to get about 3 inches of nasty stuff last night but it didn't really accumulate. We are supposed to get more of it today and tomorrow. I guess we'll have to see what happens.

Have a small party to attend later this evening at the brother-in-law's house period kind of his official open house/ housewarming party. He is also asking all of his guests that he has selected to stand up in their wedding for next year. Should be a nice time.

I think I win the morning cold report. It was -22º and the wind chill was -45º. It is a dubious honor. However, it has warmed up to -18º and the sun is shining with two large sundogs on either side. I got out for breakfast and BS with the other locals who don't have anything to do either.

Stay warm. It's suppose to get up into the 20s and low 30s all next week.

Could be worse....some places are like this all winter......trying the power of positive thinking thing right now.....pretty much not working for me........

Heading to church early. We are having Saturday services 2 hours early today then having the parish Christmas party afterward. Noot sure how many will show, as the snow did show up about 11 and is still coming down. Not big flakes, and coming down more horizontally.

Still only 6 degrees, too. Ooops, update on the temp down to 4 now.

It has stopped snowing, the wind has died down (some) and the clouds are clearing....perfect recipe for a "colder than a witches t!t in a brass bra" night. Looking for lows in the -6 to -10 tonight. I know, my northern friends are worse, but it going to be cold for us.
