Rain and snow all day

Greetings! Back to the soggy grindstone - foggy and damp again. Supposedly some snow is coming tomorrow - at least I won't have to try to shovel it off of icy ruts.

Continued prayers for Tom and his family......

Kinda cloudy and yuk here.......they say maybe some snow on the way but what do they know?

Working in office most of the week.....that is the plan. Will go down to see my Mom later in the week for her 94th Birthday.....wow....

FOGGY AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THE CHEROKEES HOPE THE SUN WILL COME OUT LATER.

SOMETHING HAS BEEN TRYING TO BUILD A NEST IN THE RIDGE OF MY BARN. FROM THE SIZE OF THE FALLEN TWIGS AND BRANCHES IT MUST BE AN OWL. A RESIDENT BARN OWL WOULD BE A NICE ADDITION TO MY ANTI-RODENT SUITE, BUT A GREAT HORNED OWL MIGHT EAT MY BARN CATS. WHAT EVER IT IS DOES NOT SEEM TO BE HAVING MUCH SUCCESS AS THE STICKS ARE ALMOST ALL FALLING TO THE FLOOR.

Morning guys.......the sun came up today and it's bright and sunny. I slept in as we came back to FIL place. SIL wanted some time alone to try and figure things out. She and my brother were never big on having lots of people out to their house....at least staying that long and yesterday there were people all day. We meet with her and the funeral home at 11 today. After that, we will head home until the service, maybe Wednesday or Thursday.

Do you ever have those days where you seem to have lost time? As in you were so busy that the day just passed and rolled into the next one seamlessly. That's how I feel the past few days. I don't know what happened to the time. I've just been so busy I barely know what day it is. Oh well, it will get better when I retire... right, Tommy?

....she was not doing so well the last year as you may recall. We thought we lost her last spring but she bounced back. She was just getting by though and then Trump got elected and she has made an amazing recovery and is back to full steam.......she is back on the stump....for Trump......

Hey guys, had the meeting at the funeral home. Got the service ironed out, it will be Thursday morning. There won't be any burial as he will be/has been cremated. We. more than likely, won't have his ashes back by then, but decided we needed to put this to bed and really don't need his ashes there for the service. His wife, doesn't want any flowers, she'd rather have live plants. I totally understand.

I am going to create a "plaque" for her. It really reminds me of a headstone to commemorate him. Apparently, after dad and then mom passed they had talked, he had told her at one point that he wanted her to "spread my ashes wherever we had fun". So there will not be place for a headstone. She can put it in her garden with the plants she receives.

AS you can see from the plaque, he was a real biker.
