Howdy! Well January certainly disappeared in a hurry. That means vacation isn't far off. A little cold snap arrived today, but I'm not gonna complain, could be a lot worse. And there is still no yard work.

Have a good day, all!

It is. Bypass the core and use it only in nice weather. I think I had mine fixed years ago for about $450. A bargain.

Didn't get a lot done this morning. Maybe get some stuff done this afternoon. Well, I did get my fingers printed and the app in the mail to the Attny. General office. In a few weeks I'll get to go have my ID done.

I think someone on here once said they first started with a heater core then built the car around it.......

Well, technically, I don't even have to have a CC to carry in Kansas. I just prefer to do it the other way.

Don't be in possession of a weapon when working on a heater core. Having small hands in this case would be a benefit. I remember the heater core stories. They were quite entertaining until your own heater core leaked.

Bring it over, Gris. I'll do it for $450

It took me about 4 hours start to finish. Not a fun job.

Cooled off here again. It was almost reasonable during the day, then it dropped off in the afternoon. Not sure if we are expecting any snow. I'm looking forward to the weekend and relaxing...I get to do that, right?

Just finished a nice big bowl of Cherry Vanilla ice cream topped with brownie brittle and whipped cream. After that I ate a stack of Danish cookies. Think I'll go grab another stack. Don't like to waste food. (Nothing really goes to waste having all the critters.)

I know that you were being funny, but as a teacher, several years ago, the state changed laws and in order to re-license, we had to go through basically the same procedure, finger prints, background check, etc. The guy who went through the class with me, just went through a similar process to drive school buses and again for his has-mat endorsement. It's freaking ridiculous, frankly, it is merely a revenue generator for county and state coffers.
