Hidey-ho! Nice and sunny and warm again - we are reveling in it. Decided to work from home today so I can get out there at the earliest opportunity and enjoy it.

Have a good day, Gurus!

"OH WHAT A BEAUTIFUL MORNING---" SUNNY AND COOL.

WAS GOING TO HAVE THE BREAKS UP GRADED ON HARVEY TODAY, BUT THE PARTS DID NOT COME IN. WHERE TO HAVE BREAKFAST IS THE IMMEDIATE QUESTION: BOOMERANG, IHOP, JIMMY'S EGG, OR STAY AT HOME AND HAVE A HAM & PROVOLONE SANDWICH ON RYE WITH LOTS OF DIJON MUSTARD. LIFE IS SO COMPLEX---

DARLING WIFE DUE HOME TOMORROW, THE SILENCE IS DOOMED. HER WOOD PECKER ASSASSINATION WAS THWARTED BY THE NON-APPEARANCE OF THE TARGET. SHE WENT OFF WITH THE SIMPLEST FIREARM IN THE HOUSE AND A BOX OF LO-SPEED .22 SHELLS. THE WOODPECKER'S LEVEL OF PERIL WAS QUESTIONABLE :-)

Looks like Brad beat me to it

Beautiful day here. Kids were up and outside on the water slide by 9 am. They played on that for a solid hour and a half with no fighting. I finished up the final pool items. Got everything running and of course the filter housing is leaking as per usual. It's a fiberglass 2 piece shell with a large rubber o ring. I replaced the o ring a season or two ago...makes no difference. A new filter setup would fix it...for about $500. I can deal with a few drops.

Need to run some errands with the kids later.

In the process of getting quotes for a new fence. Want to feel poor? Price out a new PVC fence installation...ugh.

Hope everyone has a great day!

You could do it yourself and save a fortune. Dig holes, place posts, connect sections. So easy.

Got a request to "fix" the plugin with the sump pump. Apparently, it was put on the circuit with the lights in the basement and when the lights are turned off, the outlet is turned off as well, when that happens...water in the basement. They live in Bonner Springs and the name isn't just for looks, springs everywhere. The pump cycles about every 15-20 minutes, so having it working is a must.

So I purchased 100' of 12-2 w/gr, a junction box, breaker and clamps to put the plug on a dedicated circuit. Once I figured where it was, I disconnected it from the circuit and decided how to run the wire. It took me about an hour and half to feed it through existing holes, from one end of the house to the other.

It now works, they can turn the lights off in the basement and not worry about the sump or water in the basement.

I saw some graffiti on a light pole the other day that was incredibly good. Two colors of spray paint, black over white and made with stencils. It actually looked like a detailed man's face.

Sounds a lot like plumbing only with wire instead of water.
