2014 Memorial Day Car Show Winner!

Hey guys, still in KC. Hope everyone here had a good Memorial Day. I’m in the middle of the bedroom closet remodel (expansion), on GD room. It was hotter than H yesterday. So got an early start this morning. Getting ready to do some electrical work. At least it’s not plumbing....I hate f@#king plumbing.
Got to get back at it. |

Just finished mowing the lawn in the 83 degree sunshine. Wanted to get it done before it warms up today. Feeling pretty good today, I sent 4 pictures to my racing paper, they put one on their website and published the other 3.

Good Morning CGs!
A little cooler today but still hot and a little muggy. Today is the last day of school for the rugrats if you can believe it. I can't. They did go for a dip in the pool yesterday and they were excited about that. I expect it to get a lot of use this summer if the weather keeps up this way. Ken, congrats on the photos. That's quite an honor. Hope everyone has a great day! |

Ken, congrats on the photo publishing! Hope everyone had a nice relaxing holiday yesterday, salute and remembrances to those for what they gave up for us to have the ability. Lots of work at our house over the weekend, cleaning and yard work, etc. Almost too tired to relax yesterday. Taking the day off tomorrow, couple gal pals and I are going to hang out at the pool and have a "winey wednesday" have a good day ya'll |

Well, I got the floor joists installed sub-floor put down the electrical done the wall put up, wall and floor insulation installed but ran short of ceiling insulation. We were going to Lowe’s to pickup the sheet rock, so picked up another bundle of R30 to put in before we put the sheet rock up.
Right now I feel like I’m ahead of the game....at least ahead of where I thought I would be. Tomorrow insulation, sheet rock, taping and muddling. The original closet was, roughly, 2’ deep and 5’ wide after the expansion it will be 7’ deep and 6’ 8” wide. |
