Rainy morning to start the day, a carry over from yesterday. Should be in the low to mid 40s today. Not bad for December.

Got the reman alternator installed on the Corvette last night. It's up an running. No chrome case as of right now but that can come down the road.

Good morning, sunny here but cold. Great Christmas party last night at a Vette club member's house. Ribs, chicken, shrimp, spicy corn, baked beans, seasoned green beans. He said he's cooking for us like he cooks for his family. He was tending the big smoker all day and served up a fine meal. Ugly sweater contest, bingo and great food and fellowship. We all brought presents for our foster kids, made a monetary donation to a couple of other things, and called it a night. Me and Arron hung around for about a hour and helped wash up all the big pans, put up chairs and tables, and got him way ahead of the game. He can go out there and sweep/mop and put stuff up and perhaps rest today. He was grateful and we ended up with a ton of meat to take home.
No plans today really, trying to figure out where we can go holiday week. Rain daily forecasted at the beach so I'm not about to spend money to go sit in the rain. I can do that here. Looking at weather though, looks like it will be that way everywhere I'm able to drive to.

....I hate to think of myself as elderly....In my mind I am much younger...then I see myself in the mirror and wonder who that is....

sun shining here now but no telling how long that will last. VB I have heard it is really nice in Aruba, Jamaica, Key Largo and the Florida Keys..... hmmmm reminds me of a song....

I am busy with work so that helps pass the time as we wait the glory of spring and summer....

The gate security light died. It's only a year old or so. guess the wiring got wet with the deluge we just had. The wind and rain has died down today. Maybe we can resume what Florida is best known for as The Sunshine State. Not sure if I had three things break yet but we had a power outage yesterday afternoon that totally f@(%ed up my plans. I had to start up the generator to keep the air bubbles flowing in the fish pond. Runs all the 110/120 stuff in the house as well. Like the old saying goes. Do you want to make God laugh? Tell Him you've got plans.

Has been a wonderfully beautiful day here. Sunny and mid 50s. we've been outside a lot today. Nirvie loves it outside.
