Good Morning CGs!
Merry Christmas to everyone. Not very Christmas-y here with temps in the 50s today but you don't see me complaining. Did traditional Christmas Eve dinner last night at the in-laws' house and opened presents. Too much as usual. Christmas dinner tonight at our house and it will be day two of the same...too much food and too many gifts. But we are lucky and our family enjoys sharing because of it. I did invite one of the kids from work to dinner last night because he didn't have anywhere to go. He declined but I'll offer again today. Hope everyone has a great day! |

MERRY CHRISTMAS! THE CLAN HAS DEPARTED, LEAVING THE DEBRIS FIELD BEHIND THEM. THE BUFFET WAS WELL PATRONIZED, I SPENT THE DAY GRAZING :-) EVERYBODY WAS HAPPY WITH THEIR GIFTS; GGS YOGI WAS THE BEST PLEASED WITH HIS BIG YELLOW DUMP-TRUCK WHICH HE "DROVE" ALL OVER THE HOUSE. #1 GRANDDAUGHTER AND SPOUSE DIDN'T MAKE IT, WE'LL GO OVER TO OKMULGEE AND SEE THEM TODAY IF DW IS RECOVERED ENOUGH. TE QUIERO ME FAMILIA EAT, DRINK, AND BE OF GOOD CHEER, FOR CHRISTMAS COMES BUT ONCE A YEAR! |

Morning guys... successful Christmas eve here. It was cold, windy and damp in the afternoon and into the evening. Wind like howling from the north.
Quiet this morning. Not much planned. Tomorrow I've got materials coming for the next two projects in the shop. So I'll get started on them soon. Both projects using the same basic materials, same basic design, so it only makes sense to build them both at the same time. |

Merry Christmas Guru's...... this is the first Christmas since 1986 that Doc and I have spent alone. Family celebration coming up next week. We are grateful that we are able to be together still....

Merry Christmas everyone, I pray God's best blessings upon you all.
We had a good day, was supposed to be gone but I didn't book like I should have so last minute plans to hit two places. Not really time to cook so made my bunch's favorite cheese toast with swiss and parmesan, then assembled some red rose/white carnations/accessories flower arrangements for both places, and took a bottle of wine to my bunch, plus some small stuff, same to his bunch. I gave away a half gallon bottle of wine to my bunch and got three back in return from his bunch as they make their own. And, Arron did stupendously well on gift-giving, I got a new Harley leather jacket, and a set of Hexclad pans and skillets. Packed those plus a bottle of Patron in my beach gear and loaded up and ready to head out. |
