Good Morning CGs!

I have a few days off to recharge my batteries. I think I need it. Kids don't go back to school until Monday. We wanted to sneak away for a couple of days to somewhere warm but RR#1 has a pep band concert on Friday night. That damn band is the bane of my existence.

Tommy, sorry to hear there's no update on your son. But the offer on the nursery sounds very promising.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Young Matt ain't so young anymore. LOL Cleaned up fallen branches and stuff aroud the back yard. Sound the wheelbarrow bucket was in need of repair. Fixed that and the tires won't hold air. Figures. Getting ready to cut the grass at home. It's warming up so we'll be in the low 60 to low 80 range once again over the next few days. I try to do something everyday. Eating the elephant one bite at a time. Still plenty of meat left. Months worth for sure. Oh well. Nothing will get done unless you do it. At the rate I'm going I'll be dead before I ever catch up.

good afternoon - gloomy and cold here, Vette club meeting to night. I'd just as soon skip it but it's at a favorite bbq joint, but it's a half hour away. Real good prices on 1" pork steaks and they're tender. Plus a member has a book she's bringing me and it's time to pay dues. I can get Arron a plate too, since he's gonna be at a side job and we should get home about the same time.
Tommy, fix-a-flat is your friend. My dolly wheels are still holding up so I can move my big 22" pots around. Or, $6 at Harbor Freight for a new wheel. I've not got my Christmas stuff down yet either, been gone, then got sick, then been at work. So, it will be at least this weekend before I am able. And, that will be a Sunday depending on when I can get help.

Tire is old and splitting. It's gonna take more than fix a flat. And of course, it's a 2 wheel wheelbarrow. Gonna check the nursery to see if I can find a replacement or two off the old ones.

Hey guys, MIA most of the week. GGD keeps us busy and kicking the shop back into gear to start whittling down the list. Actually have 4 separate projects going right now. Work a little on this one spray an little finish on that one, plane some boards and glue up boards for another. The shop is full and two of the cabinets are monsters 42" x 80" x 24" and made of 3/4" melamine with 1/2" melamine backs...= about 175 lbs each so not easy to move and always in the way. I'll try to finish those up and get them out of here.

Waiting for a big weather change. Turned colder yesterday and today the humids are coming up and just now starting to snow...they say to expect 2-6" through tomorrow night. Then another wave come Sunday night and another late next week. We'll take it.

I read in our local paper, that in 2022 we had 6.78" of moisture, last year (2023) we had 23.89"... the average rainfall here is around 15", so over the last couple years we have been 'normal'

Late here, better hit the sack.
