If you get a message from Anonymous, simply delete it. The Anon account means that member has been either deleted or deactivated.

Also, they cannot send viruses through the PM system.

--- Part 2 ---

To the spammers: There is little I can do to stop this. But I will deactivate and delete every account you create. I will not tolerate this occurring, and if it keeps up, I will start banning IP addresses, if that is what it takes.

In short, KEEP OUT. You are NOT welcome.

I just logged in and sure enough, had one just as you described. Freakin' losers. On a forum where I moderate we used to have a helluva spam problem. Every time I checked in I'd have to spend time deleting posts, many of them porn, and then banning the scumbags. I got real good at going through the recent members, spotting them and banning many of them before they even got a chance to post. That was always satisfying. Most were from overseas ISPs.

yea, that's the thing. If I have to ban half the IPs in Africa, I will.

Not difficult at all to ban an IP address if you have the administrative capabilities.
