hi guys,
you know how i fitted all new poly bushings to the rear and i couldnt get the rear to lower any more and we thought i might of made all the camber and trailing arm bolts too tight, which i checked and un dunn a little.
still no luck guys!!
the long spring bolts are wounded nut rite down to the bottom of the bolt.

im now thinking and wanted to know guys may be i fitted the 1991 26 mm diameter zo7 sway bar wrong ???

as in the sway bar might be on the wrong way up possibly ??

if so ,would this stop the rear suspnesion dropping down to the rite height ???

i have noticed in between the rear wheel i saw the sway bar hitting near some part of the body frame also??

also the sway bar brackets that bolts to the axle,i had them off also ,may be they are wrong way around ??

has any one got a picture on which way the sway bar should be fitted ??

or can it only be fitted on one way ???

any ideas guys please.
cheers
glen

Has the rear spring been changed? If so, what spring
has been installed?

Glen, if you do have the sway bar mounted upside down, it will keep the rear end higher and no matter what you do, you won't be able to lower it.

See upper right corner of picture in post #2.

Install bar so that lever arms approach the rear spindles
in the fashion illustrated.

Well, there's only two ways to install it, correctly, and backwards. So remove it and flip it the other way.

You're not alone. I read this thread as I had done the poly bushings and also installed coilovers all around. Went out and looked at how I re-installed the rear sway bar and sure enough there it was upside down.
