...of boost that is. No, just kidding. Say I want 47 psi for my fuel pressure...

When testing it:
Do I have the FPR hose disconnected or connected?
Do I have the car idling, or just in the run position?
How long after I kill the motor should it hold this pressure?

Thanks in advance.

The engine idling, with the vacuum hose off.

It should hold it for a good 15~20 minutes.

I had a fuel pump problem a month ago, and it would hold 40 PSI for about 2 minutes, then drop off like a rock to 30.

What do you need 47 psi for? Are you testing something or is it for mods?

Fuel pressure should be tested static (motor off, fuel rail primed), idle with vacuum on FPR, idle with vacuum off of FPR, and pedal down - gauge taped to windshield.

according to tpis, that's what i should run at. (back of package on adjustable fuel pressure reg).

Headers, and basically straight pipes are my performance mods.

You wont see any performance gains at all upping the fuel pressure, just a loss of mileage and possibly some codes

I agree. I don't think with those mods you'll need to up your FP. From what I've read/been told, the computer can adjust for these type of mods without a problem.
