Good morning CGs!

It was a wet weekend for sure up here in the Midwest. It's supposed to *not* rain today in Chicago, but I don't know how true that is. How was everyone elses' weekend? High and dry? Anyone get hit with any flooding?

Well it's Monday. I'm sure everyone's excited about that! Oh well. I wasn't looking forward to getting up this morning, but you do what ya gotta do, I guess.

I don't have much to say, so hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

MONDAY MOVIE TRIVIA:

I've decided to branch out movie trivia to include tv.....

Two part question: In the 1980s series "Knight Rider" what was Michael's car's name, and what did the acronym stand for???

Good Morning Gurus

I know the trivia since I was a Knight Rider groupie for a while. KITT was the name and stood for Knight Industries Three Thousand or Two Thousand, not too sure of the number.

Our drag races where yesterday. Hot as crap... 96 degrees.
Lots of nice cars. I love to see Vettes running 11 seconds all day. There are so many running in the 12s now its incredible and lots running in the 11s. Most stock C5 and C4 running high 13 low 14.

What about the evil Karr. I have no idea what that stands for.
Well got another bathroom to do tonight so I should be done with that by mid-week next week or if I am lucky, this week.

From Wikepedia

"Knight Automated Roving Robot"
KARR was the KITT prototype with a bug in the programming.

I was told that someone in my Corvette Club actually owns the origianl KITT, but I don't know who that would be.

To have the Kitt car would be cool as heck! I used to love that show and allways wanted the car. You can buy the kits to transform a camaro or transam into it but its ALOT of work.

Good Morning Gurus!

Spent my saturday pulling weeds and pruning a tree. Sunday I got to watch my Steelers play, and that doesn't happen too often, living in Colorado. So that was a treat.

Remember the "Evil" Michael Knight? David Hasselhoff with a mustache! Too funny!

Have a great day!

And as a post script...

I am personally a little weary of all the posts linking us to the other forum. I don't have the power or the inclination to say "stop doing it", but I think we should be comfortable enough with who we are to not bother with it anymore.

Plenty of members here still hang out over there, and will see these things anyway. I vote for keeping it over there.

Just my opinion. And I'm not upset about it. Just kinda tired of it, that's all.

Anyway, enjoy your day!

You just couldn't have stopped while you were ahead....Now I have to go look up all the cool buttons that light up and don't do anything because I like that stuff. ...end up buying them...wondering why I got no money to spend on good stuff...then end up with a mess of wires and buttons that don't work.....Off to google now.

Whatever you do, don't hit the TurboBoost button.

And then there's Super Pursuit Mode.

I'll take Dukes of Hazzard or the A-Team any day of the week though over this corny 80s hell...

Good after noon all, fun post today. I liked Knight Rider but as cars go I wanted the Cody Coyote from HardCastle and McCormack (?).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYI5UT_hXzA

Kids have been in school a few weeks and I am busier than ever, thought I would have more time online. Last week I was real sick and didn't feel better until Friday afternoon, which since then it has been raining until today. Wow, glad thats over. It's still cloudy but is supposed to be clear the rest of the week.

Watched Michigan get spanked by Notre Dame, not much else to say about that.

Well, it's about time to get ready for work. I'll be putting in a lot of OT from now on to pay for my winter vette projects. My list will be about 8 g's, I will be entering budget negotiations soon with my wife, wish me luck(I think it will cost me a new kitchen remodel).

Have a great day, Dave.

Uhhh...what? Dukes of Hazard and A-Team are just as 80s cheesy, but that's why I like them...Anyone remember Airwolf???

BTW, Grizz is the trivia winner....KITT = Knight Industries Two Thousand (and I believe in the "new" series means Three Thousand)

As much as the original is fine, you have to respect the "new" Daisy....

Heck yeah! I remember on ebay a few months ago they had a replica and I wish I had the money for it. Too bad it did not work, it was just a life sized model.
