Good Morning CGs!

Happy Monday. I'm still sitting here at my folks' house after our little weekend trip. We'll be leaving in a couple hours. It was nice to see some old friends yesterday whom I haven't seen in over a year (last time I was home). Not looking forward to the drive home, but it can't be nearly as bad as the trip on the way here.

Apparently the tapers came to the house yesterday with my BIL and started the job. They will come Wednesday (?) to sand and skim coat. After that it's painting time for Matthew. Yeah.

How was everyone else's weekend?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Yesterday was part of clean out Grandma's house week.My mother and father in law don't want anything at the condo and everything but the furniture must go. They rented the unit out furnished. Grandma is in assisted living quarters and won't be going home anymore. Cleaning out ones house you can really get a look at what was important to them. Of course there were thousands of magazines, newspapers and clippings she saved that would be important for someone. Bundles of old paperwork and mountains of clothes. Some of it never worn. The collection of ones life exposed. This happens to everybody one day. Sometimes you leave behind your possesions in a shoebox. Sometimes a house or apartment and sometimes a huge estate. One thing is for certain....... You can't take it with you .......

Good morning, Gurus!

We're having some strange weather here - it's very overcast but rather warm. Very unusual to have this type of weather in February.

Good day mates, I am getting ready to start ordering parts for the car this week, it's the only shopping I like doing. Economy is slow, I just found out the company I work for just bought 26 acres of land in Cullman Alabama to build a big 30 million dollar facility. I think it may be time to move to warmer pastures. That should be about two years down the road. Other than that, it's been a slow weekend. Have a good day all.
