We have one of those slap chops (actually, my MIL has it). She bought it about 5 years ago well before it was on infomercials. It's not called a slap chop, something else. It works pretty well for small stuff, doesn't cut the hard stuff too well. The older ones are a PIA to clean, too, because the blades don't come out.

A lot of the stuff they are selling as "revolutionary" is just repackaged/rebadged stuff that's been around for 10 years.
