Well, I got a chrysler that I just bought about 6 months ago and I am not worried about the warranty since there is a dodge version of my van I think I will be safe. Speaking of it though, I just got it back from the dealership. The AC was broke and they had to replace a few parts that were bad...one had a pin hole leak and I did not find out why the other part was replaced. I also finally got my heated seats installed that were supposed to be there from the factory that were not. So all is well.

Just so you're aware, if not already, Chrysler is the parent company, which owns the brand Dodge, meaning that Chrysler filing for bankruptcy means that Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, ect, ect...are all bankrupt.

Your warranty is just as suspect as any other Dodge Jeep or Chrysler.

They had a few winners, like the 300C chassis and PT cruiser.

But I guess the number of cars you see on the roads speaks for itself. And they're all Honda and Toyota.

I think of those mentioned, the Caliber replacing the Neon was the biggest nail in the coffin. I drove a rental Neon once, and I can tell you I have driven a lot worse cars. There's no way the Caliber would appeal to the same spectrum of buyers as the Neon.

We have a Liberty, and it's been a good truck for us. The the gas mileage is sucky and the engine could best be described as agricultural, but it has been very reliable.

The Liberty is selling fine, and I was surprised to see it on the bad list... but I didn't realize it was because it was the replacement for the Cherokee.

That was one of their best models. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Bad priorities.

It's sad, but I think Chrysler might have a better chance than GM. As it currently stands, Chrysler will dance to Fiat's tune.

GM will dance to Obama's tune.

The town and country is a good one as well. If you get the mid model or above they are very nice. Guess you really got to drive a loaded one to know.
