Greetings! I slept in royally today - long hot day on the golf course yesterday. It was a charity tournament that some friends have been running for 12 years - it is to raise money for families dealing with cancer:

Rain may postpone my wife's plans for a landscaping project. Meanwhile I'll probably fiddle with the car and see if I can figure anything else out.

Good afternoon - It's a billion degrees here today and very much humid... Already been up at to mother's house and mowed her (foot tall) yard and cut a bunch of saggy limbs out of trees and piled them up in a HUGE pile out by the street. Pulled a few weeds too. Wish she could see.
I'm beat. Looking forward to napping the rest of the day. Hope you guys have some plans for holding down a lawn chair somewhere yourselves.

Started sanding the 79' today. Man, I just aint got it in me like I used to. But it'll get done.

Oh yeah, MJ is still dead.

So, I ran out to the autocross to BS with some of my SCCA buddies. Ended up working on MY C4, puked antifreeze on the parking lot, and the opti. At lease I was at an autox, guys had tools there.. Heater hose, 10 minute fix. Fun What?

I messed with the car a bit, seems a little better now but not perfect. I fixed an exhaust leak, swapped out an O2 sensor, took out the IAC valve and cleaned it up some, and swapped the knock module from my original computer into the new one.

Thank God for remote controls, alternate stations and dvd's. I was able to avoid 93.7% of the aftermath. The other 6.3% was more than enough to give me an overload. Princess Diana all over again........ AAaaaaaahhhhhhhhh !!!
