I'm always looking. Even when I'm happy with what I'm driving, I'm looking at other cars. Saw a 93 Corvette Coupe advertised locally and went and looked at it, it had 20k miles, was black rose in color, I loved it, but the dealer wanted $17k for it. Made it pretty easy to pass that one by.
Then I saw something that caught my eye. A 2000 Camaro Z/28, dark blue, t-tops, 51k miles for $10k. It's a great looking car, and should have a lot of grunt. I think I'm going to go drive it, what do you guys think?

I try very hard not to look at C4's on the lots as I drive by, I certainly won't stop.

But what's worse ia a car show or a 57 Chev/hotrod event like Hot August nites.

I want that!,I want that!,I want that!,I'd drive that,I want that!,I want that!,I'd drive that,I want that!,I want that!.

The C4 is out, $17k is nuts for that car.

I'm looking at a Camaro. I'd trade my C4 for it.

I prefer the ride of a Corvette over a Camaro but I wouldn't mind giving it a good spanking.

Does the mullet come with it, or do you have to grow that yourself?

He's got a C4... Mullet is already there!

I have the disease too. Every time I see a car I like, I try to find a 1:18 scale diecast to help me visualize.

Bought two Porsche Caymans last week...
I suppose there are worse hobbies.

Best of luck whatever you decide!

For me, it would have to be a skullet!
I'd just trade in my gold chains.

It's fun to look, didn't get a chance to go drive it today.
The pluses for the Camaro:
Newer, lower miles, LS1, more horsepower, a back seat, (tiny, but it's there).
The minuses:
I'd get hammered for my car, there would be money out of pocket. I know my car. My car is a Corvette.

Chances are I won't do it, but I'm going to look.

If I don't fit in a Cayman, you won't fit, either. So there.

Personally, I don't like Camaro/Firebirds.

I have driven a few and they are ok in a straight line, but take a corner, they need a lot of chassis love.

So? Did you take a look?

I think back to a review of a 1979 T/A in Car and Driver... they referred to the owners has "having homosexual left hands."

I will never forget that metaphor.

I went to look today. It was sold.
It's a really odd economy. Ohio has been hit as hard as anyone, and yet toys are selling. They had a 95 Corvette coupe, polo/tan with 20k miles, they sold it for $17k! The buyer traded in a 92 Corvette coupe, black/black with 38k and they have it listed for $14k.
