Good Morning CGs!

Wow has this month been flying by, half over already!

Baby has had a little cold the past two days and it hit her pretty hard last night. She was sleeping until about 11pm when she got so congested she just woke up screaming bloody murder. Couldn't do anything to help her. Tried nasal spray, suction ball, etc, didn't work. Had to listen to her wheeze until she fell back asleep :sad5: Always the worst feeling when you can't do anything for them. As such, I was pretty tired this morning so had to hit snooze an extra time. So I'll cut it short at that!

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I am heading up to the old abandoned Pocono Drag Lodge in Thornhurst, Pa. Huge racecar reunion today only. Joe Amato, and a few other drivers should be there, and who knows how many old racecars. Could be a good time I guess.

Matt, I can relate, except it was me who couldn't breath last night and wheezed something awful. I didn't sleep too well and I'm pretty sure it affected my wife's rest too.

Pete, that sounds like a good time. Pictures would be nice

I rolled over and looked at the clock this morning, and it was 6:30. I said, "Nawwwwww", and the next time I rolled over, it was 10:00. Off to a lazy start today. Looks like we have some rain coming in to make the PGA tournament a little more challenging.

Hope your little one is feeling better, Matt! You too, Tom! Pete, that sounds like an excellent way to spend a Saturday.

Good Morning Gurus!

My day started a bit like Brad's.

Was awakened at 6am by my 5 y.o. telling me he had a nosebleed. He gets about two in a week, then none foe a couple weeks.

So I dealt with that and went back to bed. Next time I looked at a clock, it was 10am! I haven't slept that late in years.

I gots to find some grub!

Good morning, Gurus!

Stayed up late last night doing some work, and ended up being quite productive. Hewever, Gabbycat did not let me slip in this morning. Just because SHE got a full night's sleep, geez.

I'm hoping for a slow day.

Happy Saturday!

I stopped by the Carnegie Deli for a sandwich and was surprised to see a line of little bugs walking out the door. They should get some traps for those dalliance. (ohhhhh...baaaaad).

And per Bastet's new rules:

The majority of time I spend on the computer is a dalliance.

I pledge dalliance to the flag.

I like the dalliance at Hooters while I enjoy my wings.

Spent my day at a Green show with the wife. There was this guy in a mesh outfit covered in recyclable trash. He crawled across the floor, played possum and waited for unsuspecting kids. Then he's jump into action and scare the crap out of them. He was right across from me so I watched him through a few sessions. Then there was a visit by a few Miami Heat dancers. Go Heat .......... I was helping generate conciousness to the importance of greening our planet with sustainable native plants and fruit trees, especially with plants from our nursery.

I figure you all will fall over if you read this tonight since I have dropped off the face of the earth for a month or so. Summer Time has been full of too many activities and a variety of interest, but alas fall is coming.

I spent the morning today on the set of Goss's Garage here in Arlington VA. He interviewed me for the upcoming Corvettes at Carliles event and our upcoming all Corvette Drag Races on September 20th. It was pretty cool and I think it turned out ok. Maybe a few people will see it and go to Carlisle at the end of the month.

I hope all you guys are doing well. I haven't had time tonight to catch up on some of the old posts but I hope to catch up soon.

Take Care

Don, glad to hear you're still dropping by! I figured you were busy with all the presidential duties

Any chance the interview will be posted online?

Thanks Matt,

Well... its not all the Presidential duties, but I have been doing a little sailing, and for the past 8 weeks I have been riding the piss out of my bicycle trying to drop all of the weight I have gained over the past couple years of sitting on my arse!! I joined a local cycling club to take advantage of their group rides and motivation that comes with that.

Anyhow I have been keeping myself pretty busy and every time I find a moment to sit down in front of the computer at home it is usually to update the clubs pages or send out some kind of communications.

Cheers -
