Good Morning CGs!

TGIF, huh? It's my Friday so I'm exciting to have the weekend off and we're supposed to have good weather. Woo-hoo!

Picked up my engine hoist last night. Guy was real cool. While I was there I also bought a set of brand new edelbrock valve covers off the guy he had in the garage. He was planning on building a motor and had some parts bought, but ran out of money. So I'm happy

Hope everyone has a great day!

I'm not so sure about your wife but I'm happy for you.
Yesterday I cleaned the engine bay of the 91 and polished the aluminum wheels and cleaned and protected the vert top. Started to rain so I took 3 hour nap. Going to lay down a coat of wax today, pay a few bills and whatever else I can get accomplished. I was going to buy tickets to see Joe Bonamassa Saturday night. My FIL and MIL called last night to tell me my FIL won 2 tickets to the show from FM 93.9 I said great; Maybe I'll see you there. My MIL said, Why don't you use my ticket? Take it please, I don't want to go. He is always winning stuff from radio stations and other promations. Course he spend hours and hours a day entering contests. Plays, movies, concerts, dinners, gift cards. You name it. He enters contests and wins something quite often.

All I managed was to wash the 92. It was too nice out, so I drove up to the lake.
How many more vechiles do you have to wax, Tommy?

Your FIL devote more time to the lotteries. :thumbright:

Matt, what hoist did you end up with? I remember you were lookin' quite a while back.

Even though my girlfriends have some age and wrinkles on them, there's no reason I can't dress them up and make them look pretty.

Indeed!

And nice score, Matt!

My Vapor King electronic cigarette came in the mail yesterday, and so far it seems to be doing the trick. Last night I had 3 regular cigs from the time I got home until going to bed, which normally would have been 7 or 8 or more. Today I've had no regular cigs, even though I'm carrying them in my pocket. I can't say that I'm thrilled with the taste of the cartridges I ordered (some tobacco and some chocolate) - the tobacco ones taste a bit like an unlit cig, and the chocolate is a little odd. It'll just take some getting used to, and I'm sure my taste buds will go through some changes as well. I ordered some additional flavors last night (margarita, pomegranate, cappucino, etc.).

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good afternoon now....

Tommy nice!! I'd love to have that problem.

This morning was busy, I got in line at 7:15 to buy my Motorola DROID at the Verizon store. My first impressions are very good. I have been a hard core Blackberry user for years but didn't like the Blackberry touchphone so I waited for this one. In my area too many people complain about ATT service so I was not about to change over for the iPhone.

Have a great day! TGIF

I'm rather curious about the Droid phone. I need to read up on that.

Been a good couple days with the Vette.

Took a friend for a cruise on Tuesday. Pretty much a straight line shot up the highway, but got to do a donut in a gravel area. I'm such a teenager.

Just today went and saw another friend and did a victory circle on the dirt road in front of his house. The regression continues!

Honestly, I was just making sure the ASR switch was working.

I simply MUST drive this car more often... Hope I can keep it.

Tommy, that black 911 is so very! ;)

We got those cars over the past 8 1/2 years. That means I was 45 when we started. A lot of you guys have got the jump on me. My wife likes cars too, so that's a plus. It's a full time hobby. I did have nice cars when I was younger but taking care of a family is way more important.

Man, I was just swamped today. I picked up a cabinet job and I told them I could have it done by Christmas, so with the day off school, I worked my azz off in the shop. I had a call mid morning to help a guy on a project he was working on, so that took 2 1/2 hours out, but I still got the cabinet carcasses put together by time to fix supper. I had the three grandsons here with me today as well, so it's been a zoo. The wife worked this morning and then she had a clinic scheduled to give out the H1N1 to kids and pregnant women late this afternoon and until 7pm. She's still not home as now she has to do the paperwork. The daughter came by just a few minutes ago and picked up the boys, so it's finally quiet here.

Tomorrow looks like another day in the shop, building the face frames, drawers and doors. I have to get these things pretty far along as Thanksgiving we are headed back to KC to work on the #3 daughters project of converting the garage to a master bedroom suite.

Nothing fancy. I think it's called ProXone. They sell it at Oreilly's. But the price was right and it's almost new, guy only used it a couple times. Hoist is in great shape and the hydraulics work perfect. So no complaints.

Here you go Tommy:
