Good Morning CGs!

Happy Easter to all. Hope everyone is planning a nice day today. I have to work, but after that I'll be heading over to my wife's aunt's house for family dinner. Should be a nice time. I like family parties, a good time to see everyone and bs a bit.

I got a little upsetting news yesterday about the engine build. The guy I was gonna use is backed up with 6 engines and isn't taking any more aboard. I have the name of a couple more shops to get in touch with. So come Monday I'll be doing that.

So how has the weekend been so far?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Happy Easter All,

I'm not sure what I'm doing today. I always seem to have family issues deciding where to spend holidays. We were supposed to visit my folks today, but Friday night my spouse and mother had a "cat fight" and now I'm stuck in the middle again. I'd like to tell them both to take a long walk off a short pier!

Yesterday, I couldn't take the nice weather any longer and I took the Corvette out without shift plate or AC ducts in place. I didn't go far, just enough to listen to the rumble of the exhaust and get her up to temperature. The new stereo sounds great. I hope the trim pieces arrive here next week.

I might just go out there and wax it today.. Who knows?
Have a great Easter!

Sounds like a good plan, Don - safe, anyway ;-)

Sorry to hear about your builder, Matt - hopefully you'll find another guy who is trustworthy and knows his stuff.

Got my grouting done yesterday, now just have to let it set for a day or two and seal it. Glad to have that behind me, what a PITA.

Have a great Easter, everyone!

I'm gonna work around here. Never ending parade of chores. It's starting to work on me a little. ( Think happy mellow thoughts, think happy mellow thoughts) Anger and frustration are not my friends. Happy Easter.

A happy Easter to all! Matt, that just stinks...oh well the best laid plans don't always goes 'as planned'. Hope you find someone else that will do as good a job. Don, glad you got to take the Vette out, maybe I'll drop mine down today and go for a ride. Brad, I sure am glad you got that job done, I was feeling for you.

Me, well I got the word that I needed to paint the two storage sheds we have out back (both are 8 x 12). I use one to hold extra materials for use on the shop. The other holds mowers, bikes, etc. I got the one primed yesterday, it took way more primer than I anticipated, so I didn't got the second one done. I'll probably go back today and pick up another gallon of primer and the color as well. I'll have one more day before my materials get here for those cabinets I have to build.

Well, I certainly hope that you all have a great Easter....the grandsons should be here pretty soon.

Good morning. Hope everyone and their families have a great Easter holiday today.
I plan to visit some relatives, put some flowers out at the cemetery near mother's grave (lost her last year right after Easter and it was a special holiday for her) and then maybe clean up the vette. I'd like to get those new (to me) visors in as well but that might wait till tomorrow.
The sun is calling!

Went to church this morning with the wife and kids. When I got home I spent the majority of the rest of the day detailing up the '95. I hit everything on it. On top and underneath. I hate to brag, but damn it looks good. I almost don't want to drive it now. Is that crazy?
