Good Morning CGs!

Well can you believe it's June already!?! Wow. Almost half over with this year. I've got a busy month planned already and it's barely even started. Geeze. My (personal) number one goal this month is to be driving my car! The wife could care less and tries everything she can to stand in the way of that, of course. I already have a laundry list a mile long for my next couple days off. Boy is she gonna be pissed when I'm out in the garage all day. Isn't marriage grand?

Enough complaining by me. How was everyone's Memorial Weekend? Any good stories?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Um not really any good stories... inspected a C4 on Saturday, washed the outside of my car hauler, hoping to wax it. (didn't happen) washed the mother in laws & wifes vehicles. Came home and BBQ'd in the rain on monday...

But the bright side is it's a 4 day work week! even though I'll probably be doing side work on the weekend..

Greetings! Hard to believe the long weekend is over already. The forecast is calling for rain starting right about tee-time this afternoon, naturally.

Have a good day, all!

The Silent Generation are people born before 1946.

The Baby Boomers are people born between 1946 and 1959.

Generation X are people born between 1960 and 1979.

Generation Y are people born between 1980 and now.

Why do we call the last one generation Y?
I did not know, but a cartoonist explains it eloquently below...Learned something new today

I made it through the weekend, the daughter and boys are all moved out of the house and we got it cleaned up. Now this week I'm planning what needs to be sold at the garage sale this weekend. The wife leaves for a meeting in Wichita for a couple of days. Next week I am headed for Effingham, Ill for a Corvette gathering.

Hope everyone has a good day.

If it ain't one thing it's another. I'm having a bout of lower back pain. The thing is it only hurts when I move. Hot shower, bends and stretches and wait until I make the right move that lets the nerve get back to where it's happy.
I had a pretty good run without triggering it but all you older guys know just what I'm writing about. One day you bend to pick up a piece of paper or turn wrong and BAMM! Oh well, just have to deal with it. Sitting in a Corvette isn't bad, it's the getting in and out that creates a shout.

I buried my 18 year old cat "Blackie" in the backyard yesterday. I shouldn't feel so morose about it but I do.
His last day was pretty rough and I didn't have the cojones to end it.

I feel for you Joseph. I love my dogs, cats, birds and pig like part of the family. The tortoises not so much but I'd still feel bad to see one not moving. 18 is a good run. I feel as you do and cry like a baby when I hold them in my arms for the last time. Time heals old wounds and you will always have the memories you've made with your pet. Be glad you had the chance to love your pet and your pet love you back.

Thanks Tom, my wife and I are opposites when it comes to sentimentality and I have to chuckle when I picture her after I have "the big one".

I had a good weekend. About 20 people from my Corvette Cl;ub came to my house on Sunday. We all congregated there and then left for a Shrimp Feast that was just a couple miles from my house. There was probably about 50 Corvettes total between my club and Free State Corvette Club. It was in the mid 90s with high humidity. That made for a sticky day, but still a lot of fun.

I'm really getting burned out and stressed about my upcoming car show this weekend. Only four days left!!! Oh My God!!! Help me Lord! I think this is the last year for Show Chairman!

I hope you all had a good weekend and hope this week if a good one too

Hope everyone had a good weekend and spent time with family.
Sorry to hear about the cat Flyboy. Hard to lose a family member.
Can't believe it's June already, half this year is gone like a blur like the last half of last year. And, I'm now one more year closer to Depends, driving slow and being senile.
Well, that last part I think I already got....

Sorry to hear about the kitty, Joe.

I'm tired after work today. So what was next? Came home and cut the grass, took the cover off the pool, and fought with the wife. So the circle of life is complete.

Ugh.
