Well I hope the curse is broken. Just had one of those periods when everything I touched turned to $#!+. It's like the Midas touch but there ain't no gold .... I have lots of stuff to catch up on today. Seems I've had my time occupied by others. Catch up on stuff so I can get a day off. Have a happy, sunny Sunday.

Good Morning CGs!

Well, I'm getting ready to hit the road for another run. It's supposed to be a 2 milerun , interrupted by 6 aerobic intervals, then another 2 miles home. I think I'll shorten it slightly due to yesterday's long distance. My body is a little sore, too, from yesterday's weightlifting. I think I was a little overzealous. Plus, I had to contort my back in all sorts of horrible positions to change the EGR valve on that econoline van. What a PIA. But it's done.

Today I also have to stop by HD and pick up a new fridge filter. Maybe we'll get a movie and relax after that.

I hate when that happens.
I had good luck yesterday, I've been concerned about finding the stock Holley for the C2, I had a different carb on it when I took it off the street.
I found a box in the far corner of the shop with 4 Holleys in it. All were torn apart and chucked into the box, luckly one of them was the origional carb off the '67. It took a while looking up part numbers, identifing linkages, etc.

Hope my luck and the other Gurus luck continues today.

Good morning all. Made it back from the west coast, and did some work on the vette yesterday. Heading out to see the KISS show with the family later tonight.

Greetings! I'm glad Tommy wasn't touching the computer I was working on yesterday - took 7 hours to get the blasted thing back to normal as it was. Today looks minty - gonna get out there, wash the car, pop the top and go for a ride.

Enjoy your Sunday, all!

Good Morning All... well its kinda past morning and my head hurts a little from the picnic and crab feast yesterday, but we had a ball!!

There were some outstanding cars present and the guys house where we had the picnic was fabulous. Actually, not the house so much, since I didn't go in the house, but the garage and the property were great for this kind of activity. He has about ten acres or so in a nice shady setting. Even though it was kind of hot and humid yesterday the shade made it just right.

Here are some photos of a couple of the cars I liked.

I went out to Bonneville and saw the speed races for the first time. What a thrill! and I even saw 2 C4's and a C5 race. Although the C5 about stalled it out on take off .

Hey guys, I'm back at home. A 6 hour drive in cool weather was not what I was expecting...not complaining. Once home, I unloaded the car, and then got it washed and back into the garage. It's nice to go away for a few days, but it's always nice to get back home. I have all week to finish some stuff before I have to be back in school. I hope that your luck changed today Tommy, and I hope that everyone had a great day.
