Good Morning CGs!

Well, check the tech thread for any updates. Still working on the starting issue. Of course when I was under there I found what looks like a little p/s fluid leak under the rack in the center of the car. Great. Add it to the list. I'll grab some stop leak and see if that helps. I have to get my new spark plugs anyway, so I can grab some lucas along the way.

Did a bunch of chores yesterday to appease the wife. She wasn't happy with me most of the day. Cleaned up the yard, folded the pool cover, cut the grass, mopped the floors. After that she was happy, but until then it was the angry evil eye every time I saw here. She didn't think I could finish my stuff and hers as well. Gotta love it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

An older, white haired man walked into a jewelry store this past Friday evening with a beautiful much younger gal at his side. He told the jeweler he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend. The jeweler looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring.

The old man said, 'No, I'd like to see something more special.'

At that statement, the jeweler went to his special stock and brought another ring over. 'Here's a stunning ring at only $40,000 the jeweler said. The lady's eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled with excitement. The old man seeing this said, 'We'll take it.'

The jeweler asked how payment would be made and the old man stated, 'By check. I know you need to make sure my check is good, so I'll write it now and you can call the bank Monday to verify the funds and I'll pick the ring up Monday afternoon.'

On Monday morning, the jeweler angrily phoned the old man and said, 'There's no money in that account.'

'I know,' said the old man, 'but let me tell you about my GREAT WEEKEND!'

Good luck, Matthew.

I have to drop the Y pipe on the Silverado and go a-welding.
Hopefully there won't be any leaks when I put it back on.

No one here to give me the angry, evil eye but, I do need to start my spring cleaning.

Good morning! Matt very domestic of you to do your chores when you are under such stress. I mean when your car won't run and you can't figure it out, that's a pressure cooker!

I would have thought it would be some major component not some little pos sensor some where. Keep looking so we will all be better informed. How's the baby doing? Good I hope!

Gotta work, have a good day everybody!

Four married guys go fishing.

After an hour, the following conversation took place:

First guy: You have no idea what I had to do to be able to come out fishing this weekend. I had to promise my wife that I would paint every room in the house next weekend.'

Second guy: That is nothing, I had to promise my wife that I would build her a new deck for the pool.'

Third guy: Man, you both have it easy! I had to promise my wife that I would remodel the kitchen for her.'

They continue to fish. When they realized that the fourth guy has not said a word, they asked him, “You haven't said anything about what you had to do to be able to come fishing this weekend. What's the deal?”

Fourth guy: I just set my alarm for 5:30 am. When it went off, I shut off my alarm, gave the wife a slap on her Ass and said:
'Fishing or Sex?'

And she said:…………….. 'Wear sun-block.

Tommy that's very similar to the way I heard it....only difference was they were Golfing and the last guy says "Golf course or intercourse" and she says "Take an umbrella, it might rain."

Trying to make up for not being here yesterday. The kids missed me though and was glad I was back....yea, right. They are working away, and I'm about caught up on the paper work I missed.

Matt, I hope you get it figured out soon, having one that doesn't run is frustrating.

Blah and busy here today, need a nap already. I added a couple items to my "to do" list for the Vette last night, and noticed that not many had been crossed off this year.

Good afternoon! Quite today, kids are designing the boys basketball team lockers. Old lockers were removed yesterday vintage early 60's, steel. The new style will be modeled after Notre Dames, solid oak. That will keep my kids busy.
Rec. an e-mail from our corp regarding our $1,800.00 electric bill for the Wood Shop alone for this month. Where it says comments I put...Wait til winter if you think this is bad! Corp trying to figure out ways to cut back. Welding class ran on average $5,000/month. plus $2,000/month on gases and consumables.

I was rockin' this a.m., pulled the crossmember on the Silverado, pulled the Y-pipe & cats out, welded the cats to the pipes, reinstalled the exhaust, crossmember, trans mount, 4 oxpgen sensors. Got the p/u off the jackstands, cleaned and put away the tools in 2hrs. 45 mins.
