Good morning all. Sometimes we all like to gang up on the ladies around here. We have to remember we wouldn't be here unless there was a woman that wanted us. A woman to care for us, to nurture us. Without women, how could we have HCF?

Very Short Story

Man driving down road.
Woman driving up same road.
They meet each other.
The woman yells out the window, PIG!
Man yells out window, BITCH!
Man rounds next curve.
Man crashes into a HUGE PIG in middle of road and dies...

Thought For The Day:

If men would just listen....

Har!

Last workday for a week, heading up to northern MN tomorrow to freeze my tuches off. I saw "snow shower" in the forecast for late next week. Should be a good time with friends anyway.

Enjoy your Friday, gurus!

Good Morning Guru's Cool 28 degrees and partly sunny.
To do list tonight after school:
Flush cooling system on the 89 4x4
Change oil/filter...take a 20 minute power nap while under truck
Rebuild rear wheel cylinders/new brakes and drums for the back
Flush brake system/bleed
Stare at vette wishing I was in California and not facing winter
Watch Collie poop in neighbors yard.

Tonight is pizza night

So far everything is normal in school this morning, kids are behaving better when its cold outside. If they bitch about the shop being cold I whip the overhead door open and let the 28 degree weather hit em. Then explain the word for the day "perception" of cold.

In Florida it rarely gets really cold. Floridians are "freezing" when it dips into the 40's. We do get some 30s and 20's up in northern Florida. Perception of cold. LOL. I remember as a kid when you'd be freezing in the 20's and 30's. Then it would drop to single digits with wind chills in the minus teens. Afterward 30's felt like a warm summer day. You could go out in 30 degree weather with just a sweater. You could almost lie out for a tan if the sun was shining.

Howdy
Started a new muzzleloading rifle project. Better half wants a bedroom rehabbed, like now. It's been that way for 30+ years. What's the rush? Couple more months won't hurt.

Here too, only here they forecast "snow level". Mid week we're supposed to see the level drop to 5,000 ft. on one day.
But, my house is above 5,000.

Good Morning CGs!

OK, Tommy, your first post reminded me of a joke....this is actually a true story, names have been changed to protect the innocent. I happened to be at a house where a couple was getting divorced...not on such good terms. Dude was moving out, his wife and their mutual friend was there. Husband and wife passed each other in the hallway while moving boxes, gave each other the stink eye.
All of a sudden the friend says to the wife, "Oh my God, you just had hallway sex" - Neither of us understood so she explained "You passed by each other in the hallway - you looked at him and thought "fuck you" and he looked at you and thought "fuck you, too"!

Car is still laid up in the garage. I have to go back to AZ (the store, not the state ) to get the ICM retested and grab a new tool. My wife is already fed up with the car...she said to me "why don't you just sell it.....and not replace it"! She was serious, too! Makes me want to go out and buy another one that doesn't run!!!!

Maybe I need some of these to make up for it:

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning Everyone

Matt - I can sympathize with you! I have the same comments about mine. My solution, buy another one.

BTW - Dealership friend called last night. They got a 2006 Z51 coupe in on trade Wednesday. High mileage (50k) but nice clean car. For me $26k

I could do that one too. Too many choices.

Have a great day.

Note to self: never read Matthews jokes before engaging in a conversation with state observers in the hallway. To difficult to explain my action to visitor with a dot in the middle of forehead. Note to self: Blow nose before reading any of Matts Jokes or comments, difficult to remove snot from nearby student without him knowing it!!!

You guys have me in stitches this morning.....We have a game here tonight, we're going to lose...no doubt about that, but we are having a competition with the other town, supporting Cancer research. We're wearing pink today, had special shirts made, so lots of pink today. I work the game tonight so it will be interesting to see how much pink will be in the two sets of bleachers.

My morning started out not so good. I grabbed my shoes to put them on and immediately that hand's thumb felt like I got jabbed by a hot needle. Dropped the shoes and turned on the light and find I've been stung by a wasp. Wife says "I saw a wasp flying around in here yesterday." "Well he found a place to spend the night." So I've had ice on my thumb. It will go a while and be OK, then all the sudden it aches like heck and I can't pick up a pencil. Right now it's OK but I'm sure it will be back.

Don, that sounds like a decent deal! Matt, I hope you get the car fixed soon. Ron, I know what you mean, if they bitch open up the doors, then listen to them bitch.

Hope everyone has a great Friday.

Question of the day for students. What event occurred September 11, 2001 that changed America forever?
Answers for real
President Obama was born.
My Daddy went to prison.
Faulty brakes on Toyotas
I was 7 couldn't read yet.
Walmart was started
Germans bombed Yankee Stadium
Whats America?

Wow!!!

That did not come out of my wood shop!!
However, on a vocab quiz on Wood Shop Terms 2 week ago:
2 students thought a rabbet was a bunny
A dado was a song from the sixties
Joint was legalized
A conifer was there for her protection from STD's
Hardwood was something you got during a dream.

Not bad! out of 110 students only 4 had these kinds of answers.

I found that on a website earlier and couldn't stop laughing. If you want to read some really, really bad t-shirts, go to www.tshirthell.com
