Did you use Kevin's (CentralCoaster) website?

Your parts list:

New Drive Gear: GM # 8642620 - 15 tooth, grey
New Driven Gear: GM # 25513052 - 45 tooth, lt blue

New speedometer sensor: GM # 25007308

(These parts are ideal for a 26 inch tire. At 60 mph, your speedo will read 60.8 MPH.)

Drive gear you listed has the correct teeth, but different p/n. Depends on which transmission. Did you enter that and year correctly into the website? Also it should tell you what RPO came with those gears, which tells you what should be on the car to begin with.

And if you don't want to change the drive gear, there are still options for changing the driven gear, but may not be as accurate.

I think my speedo gear calculator is in the tech library also.

I am holding both GM gears in my hand.
The driven gear number is correct.
The drive gear number is incorrect (unless GM changed the part number in the past 18 months, and your number supercedes my number.

Drive Gear 15 Tooth- 8642620

My T700 gear bought six months ago has same # as yours

Google shows GM # 12507670 as a ZF6 speedo gear; cross references to ZF part # 0501 310 389 ( from ZFDoc )

Yup, he bought a ZF gear, not a 700R gear and I have to assume they are different.

You can probably find photos of both on ac-delco's parts catalog.
