Plenty to do but I don't care if I do it or not. 100 years from now it won't make a difference. Lack of motivation, not much interest in going out and doing things. Nope.... I'm not depressed. I just don't feel like doing $#!+. But I am gonna go wipe down my 90, cruise up and visit my old buds at work. I see them a couple of times a year. I worked with them for over 25 years so we have a more familial relationship. I saw them more than I saw my own family. Hell, we even called ourselves bruthas. People always have good intentions of getting together. The least I can do is stop in and say Hey! Maybe bring along a pecan coffee cake ring. After that I probably won't want to see them for awhile. Like I told ya..... We were like bruthas ....

Good Morning CGs!

It looks dreary outside, somewhat overcast. Has the cold appearance of winter. Ugh. Well, I enjoyed the warm spell while it lasted. Wife took off early this morning to do some Saturday morning sale shopping. She shouldn't be out too long. After that I'm taking rugrat #1 to gymnastics. This afternoon the wife and I are going out to a nice restaurant to celebrate her birthday. Kids are going to G&Gs for a little bit. Should be a nice dinner, I hope. Other than that, might try to fix the computer and do some chores around the house.

I fixed two computers yesterday. On the weekend I have no love for working on computers after dealing with them all week long.

We got some beautiful weather coming our way today and just in time for our Toys4Tots drive at Hooters. I hope to get some good photos. I hope we get some good waitresses. Last year the quality was waxing a bit! LOL

Tommy, I hope you have a GREAT Day!!

Take Care

Don, I worked on a dam* computer until 1am this morning....never had one give me so much grief. I slept in a bit to make up for the late night.

Today I have several things to do, so I better get to them. I'll check in later.

I took a couple pics early this morning - cable and innerweb were knocked out until just a little bit ago. They're saying we could get another foot by tomorrow:

Glad you shared those pics Brad. If you guys didn't post em I wouldn't see any snow.
Went to Advance Discount Auto to pic up some R134A and a new recharge kit. My guage bit the dust. I have a slow leak that nobody has been able to find yet. It was cool this morning but right now it's pretty warm. I already broke a sweat. Might have to put some shorts on. Anyway ... While I was at the auto parts place the guy that parked next to me commented. "Nice Vette". I gave the traditional "Thank You". Ain't it great to hear that? You can never say that to me enough.

Nice Vette,

:tweety: Nice Vette,

Well, I went out to check on a job I have to do and when I came back my computer is infected with "Think Point" rogue antispyware sh!t. My son in law did the number on it for me. I went into a tirade. The SOB even comes up and takes control even in Safe Mode.....went down to my other computer and did a search and figured out how to rid myself of this POS. Makes me so f*cking mad I can hardly see straight. Screws up the machine and then just leaves.....I'm passwording the computer and only telling the wife what it is. Already did the one in the basement.... I set up computers for the grandsons...I told everyone, use those if you f*ck those up tough sh!t, I'll fix them when I have time stay the h3ll off of my machines.

RANT OFF

Effin' internet and cable went out for a couple more hours. I finished Snowblowing Round 1 in the meantime. I am glad I stocked up on Drambuie. And vodka. And beer. And gin. And scotch. And tequila. And wine. And Aleve.

So, the saga continues .....

I went to the grocery store to load up on a few specials. The young bagger took the groceries to the car.

That's a nice car sir? Is that one of the newer ones?

No sonny, That car is 20 years old.

I'm on a roll today.

Tom, I know how you feel. I was so pissed off when I picked up a trojan horse from a local theatres show schedule online. Brad, when I used to stock up for the hurricanes I used to get 12 12 packs of beer and a couple of bottles of JD and multiple cartons of cigarettes. Have to prepare for the worst.

I am ready for a Drambuie and some serious couch time - my old bones are creaking. The snow finally tapered off, thankfully. Two rounds of shoveling/snowblowing wet, heavy heart-attack snow. And I busted out some ceramic tiles in the kitchen floor and replaced them, just for fun.
