That hasn't posted a pic yet. It's a 84 that needs a bit of work. Not the greatest pic as of yet, but it does have the ground effects kit on it, runs decent for having over 150 k miles on it. Will post more pics again, and let ya all know what work I have done and what it needs. I picked it up for 2k, So I think I got a decent deal

the most expensive thing on these cars is the interior. IF the insides are good, you are golden.

Looks pretty straight!

The body is straight.Never been hit. And I am learning about the interior, which is what needs the most work. It needed the headliner which i posted about earlier, and ended up buying one for about 140, killer deal I thought. The drivers seat is toast, the pass seat is perfect. Just put covers over them temp. The drivers door handle was broke and replaced it along with the door lock, and the rubber wipes inside and out. The door panel itself was just about broke in 2 with a crack up the middle. Used a plastic welder, and is just like new and strong as hell.I also put the door insulators in also. Needs a carpet kit, but for now a good vacumn and a few cans of interior paint and it will be close to good. The dash is in perfect shape. same with the console. It's definately a project for me, but at the same time I have to be somewhat conservative with the cash also. In time it WILL be done and done right

when you are ready for paint, check out one day paint. They did my 92 and did a GREAT job for under $2k. Seriously great job.

When I took it to them, I said, "all I want is OEM. I am not out for show, just a nice shine." I got that and more, really. The way I figured it, if it shined nice, at this age, it would look custom!

Thanks for the welcomes and compliments ! The boat is a 76 nordic that I have fixed up, hence my screen name. Didnt know what to use seeing as I am new to the Vette scene, and it is a screen name that I use on a few jetboat forums. Thanks also for the heads up on getting it painted. I was thinking it would cost me a helluva lot more, so now maybe the first part of the year it just might get done, if things go right. Don't know if I should put it here or start a new thread, but I just finished putting a water pump and all new hoses on. I ordered a heater control valve and a heater core, seeing as the valve was rotted away, and the core was bypassed. Got a good deal thru vette2vette, another lead I got from here. So I am getting ready to do the heater core this weekend. Anyone here done one in an 84, or is there a how to here? TIA for any info. Mark Just finished on the water pump delio, what a pain in the arse, that was. NO leaks, Yehahhhh. And also noticed I was a little off on the mileage, it has 179K on her, and was idling at 800 with 63 psi oil pressure.

Right click on the picture below and save it, try to upload that as your avatar. Should be small enough, if not let me know.

Welcome to the board, nice ride(s).

Some advice: don't listen to anything I say as I rarely know what I'm talking about.

Did you try and it won't work, or you didn't try?

If you didn't try, the steps are:

1) Right click on the picture and hit "save as" and save it with a name you want in a folder you want.
2) Go to "view account" on the left hand menu bar.
3) Once in the "view account" screen, there is a button at the top for "avatar."
4) Click on the "avatar" button which will open a new screen.
5) On the new screen, there is a section called "upload avatar."
6) Where is says "select file" hit the "browse" button and find the picture you just saved.
7) Hit the "submit" button and you are all done.

It took me longer to type this than it actually takes to do it - it's easy!!! If it won't accept it, the picture is too large and I need to make it smaller. But try it first and let me know.

Didn't work again Matthew, kept coming up with either a .art, or .bmp file so wouldn't work here. I put the pic in MS paint and resized and tried about 20 times, what a pain in the arse for something so easy. But I got it!!!!. Thanks for your help! You can see I am living up to the dumbass status !! LOL Mark
