Yesterday has come and gone. I went through most of the day not really sure what day it was. I like that. But alas .....I'm brought back to the calendar. Precious, our 35 lb alarm clock, had me up at 6:30 AM once again. First a little squeel, next a few paws to the body and when she got no response from that she resorted to jumping back and forth over me till I finally conceded. Where she picked this up from I have no clue. Must be one of those animal training the master type situations. Anyway, I'm up and at it. Breaktime is over. I took it easy all week in the hopes I would feel more rested. It didn't work. Today I have to step it up a notch. Party is over, chores are waiting. Things will never get done if I don't do them. Unfortunately for me, lately I lack motivation. The internal spark, the kick ass and take names approach is missing. Well the only way to get stuff done is to do it. Let's hop to it.

Maybe one of these would help, Tommy:
 Today would be a good day to be a windshield washer fluid salesman - the roads are sloppy as all getout. Temps in the low 30's and plenty of snow to melt. But it is just a tease, as the bottom is supposed to fall out of the thermometer again this weekend. Another day closer to spring, anyway. Have a good one! |

Top of the morning to everyone. Nice here today in the 40's. We will be grilling steaks out on the deck. I clicked on a link yesterday and all the avatars are gone and I really miss them. All except one of them that is. Any idea how to restore them back to normal?
I like to see what folks come up with and I miss the bs meter. Why did I click on that link, why? More work and more meetings and get some parts ordered for the Vette. That's my day. Hope your day is good also. |

Does anybody report news on the news anymore? Most of it is not worth even hearing nevermind remembering. A nice face makes listening to schlock bearable. Still a waste of time though. I usually get the news I want online. I click the subject matter I care to read about. Most of that is a waste of time too. More entertainment value than news.

Good morning guys....It's Friday for me, headed to KC after school, well after the GSs' b-ball game. Stop at the in-laws and then up early tomorrow to get to KC by noon. At least it's supposed to be a nice couple of days, 60's here today and in the upper 60's tomorrow in KC.
A mens' group up north of us had a stag last night, so several from our group went up to it. Lamb fries, salad, beans, veggies and of course a few adult beverages. Had a good time and still got home at a reasonable time, but I'm dragging a bit today. I didn't want to get up this morning when the alarm went off. Our alarm isn't quite as persistent as Tommy's. Well, Brad imagine that....But I hate listening to the news, like Tommy said, it's not news. It's more like "he said, she said". BS Bill, I hope everything shows like it supposed to and it all in good shape. Did you get the stove working? Marcus, I haven't had any trouble with the Avs, are they back to normal now? |

Good Morning! Five inches of wet nasty snow last night. It poured down rain first, even some thunder and lightning then about 6pm the temperature got cold enough it turned to snow. Left some heavy stuff out there on the driveway. I got the cars cleaned off and the driveway clear. Now I need to warm up a bit.
When is the first day of Spring? |
