Good Morning CGs!

I stayed up waaaaaaaaaaay too late last night. I was reading about sports supplements because I want to change my stuff up. Sports supplements are similar to vette parts....this airfoil will give you 15 hp guaranteed...just like this powder will make you bench 350 lbs, have a 12 pack (not just a 6 pack) and emit a phermone european supermodels can't resist. So there's a lot of garbage to wade through without any real science. Of course, a bunch of gym rats going "yeah, it rocks" then the other half going "it blows". Stick to the simple stuff is what I keep telling myself.

Taking the kid to gymnastics this morning, then we are having a dinner date tonight with the wife and BIL/his gf.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Good Morning....I'm sore this morning, knees and ankles ache. Probably from moving moving those counter top pieces yesterday. We've got a b-ball game for #2 GS today, so we'll be headed out soon. Weather is supposed to continue improving, mid 50's today and mid 70's by Thursday.

I tried out the new dishwasher last night. Sure beats hand washing dishes in the bathroom.

Greetings! A few chores today, then we're going out to dinner with some friends, and then off to see one of my cyberjammin buddies play geetar.

Some people say that supplements just make for expensive pee. I take some vitamins and probiotics - I know the probiotics make a difference as I've reduced my Tums consumption by about 95%. And I rarely get sick. But who knows.

Tom, I'm sore just from reading about all the stuff you did yesterday.

Bill, that sounds great, but think how efficient you were before, killing 2 birds with one stone.

Have a great Saturday!

Sports supplements. Do they have one that tricks your body into thinking you've actually performed in a sport/exercise? That would be one I'd buy.

Wifey called me at 8:05 AM. She said she found a cargo trailer with a 12'x 6' bed, double axle. The way she described it I thought I could tow my brothers car with it too. As it turns out it's more of a tree and plant hauler. I think I could haul it if I climbed out the window. I'm gonna sand it, paint it, replace the deck, new tires and grease the bearings. Should last for another decade.

I disagree. Although there are *many* supplements on the market that are garbage...hype...marketing...no science...dangerous....there are many that are very beneficial for health, nutrition, weightlifting. You just have to be careful and not bite at the first new crap to hit the market. There are tons of scientific research studies on various supplements out there, so you have to do a lot of reading, not just listen to the meathead at the gym who goes "this stuff will make you ripped overnight". I take several supplements, but I'm looking to change things up a bit is all. I want to be in really good shape for running / triathalon / biking season, better than I was when I ran the last 1/2 marathon.

Evening guys...I'm home, the GS lost his B-ball game 18-16. It was a good game. I've been to church already, so maybe....maybe I'll sleep in tomorrow (probably not). I'm going back over to try and finish up a couple of things on that counter top tomorrow afternoon and take a couple of shots to post.

Looks like we might have a full week of school this week...darn, I was getting use to those 3 and 4 day weeks. We have make up b-ball Monday night and a regular scheduled game Friday, so I have a couple nights taken care of.

I hope everyone had a great Saturday.
