Good Morning CGs!

Rest? Rest, Tommy? Not for me. I was up with Jacob from 4:00-5:15, just because he didn't feel like sleeping. Now he's up at 7:10 again and that's it for me. When are they old enough to ground?

I don't know what's on the agenda today. Maybe I'll go with the wife to a movie. She was talking about it yesterday, but I got busy with stuff. I don't even know what's playing, so I guess I should look into that.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings! I'm up pretty early for a Sunday - had a little headache from being stuffed up overnight, probably the result of inhaling mouse turd fumes yesterday. Gonna putz on the Vette a bit today, plenty to do.

Enjoy your Sunday, all!

I slept in until now... Still rubbing the sleep from my eyes. I'm not sure what's in store for me today but I might get into some catch-up work for my real job or maybe some catch-up work for the Corvette Club.... or some catch-up work for the wife.. Well, you get the picture; I'm behind in everything.

I woke up to a dusting of snow this morning. I thought that stuff was all finished by now. It's officially spring, doesn't that mean anything anymore? My buddies should be arriving in Bowling Green sometime this afternoon. I bet they ran into snow in West Virginia this morning. I hope they have a safe trip. We wound up with a small group of seven cars going. At least its a manageable group and everyone should be able to hang out together easily.

Hope you all have a good Sunday... Take Care

I'm going to IM Rich later to see how they are doing on the trip to Bowling Green.

Kathie is hanging in there. She will be going in on Thursday and Friday for some MRIs and other imaging to provide a better look at the cancerous area. She is participating in a study on a new type of MRI marking agent that provides a better resolution image for the surgeon. Its been used in Europe for ten years.. (We are a conservative bunch here in the US). Her surgery is scheduled for Tuesday, April 5th and then some follow ups later that week. She got a little panicked on Friday when they called with the dates for surgery. I guess that kind solidifies things and marks the beginning of a long arduous process for her to get rid of this crap. I called my company on Friday and alerted them to Kathie's condition and canceled the NAB Conference in Vegas I had scheduled for the second week in April. There are lots of things that both of us will be putting on hold for a while until this stuff is behind us.

We had a freekin' blizzard for the last week. But it's finally gone, last of the spring snow.

Yesterday, I was at Home D in Reno, it was too hot for a jacket. I drove 4 milesto my house where it was blowin' cold and snowin'.

Good morning guys....I've been to church already, so we have a good start to the day. We have to head home pretty soon, too.

Don, we are still hoping and praying for and the wife. Bill, more snow? I hope that you get over that stuff soon. Matt, I remember those days, come to think about it, I still experience them occasionally. Tommy, those words usually get you into trouble, at least they do me. Brad, in all seriousness, be careful around those mouse droppings Hanta-virus is nothing to take lightly.

Everyone have a great day.

Man Bill, that is the land of infinite variety. Matt you can start grounding them now but they don't serve their sentence till they turn 15. My kids have been permenantly grounded for years, even the older ones.

Brad you should always use protective gear when messing with toxic materials. Anything dealing with mice qualifies for that. Don, one day at a time, just do what you can.

It is as much winter here as it was in January. Cold, snow on the ground, gray. Bummer! I did get some quality time with my car yesterday. I redid the fuel pump install and hope it is all it should be. Makes a difference when you have instructions. My one header is all installed and the O2 sensor in place. The wire was long enough, it was just hung up one some things, so that worked out ok.

I did see a list of the 10 cheapest cars to own and suprisingly C4's weren't on it. Gotta get ready for church and then some more work on the car today. Think spring Guru's!

P.S. Easy does it going home today TB.
Tommy suprise her by volunteering to do some stuff, it makes my wife crazy when I do that.

Good morning, all!

Quiet this morning - I actually got to bed early last night, which is not my norm. It's still quite cold here, so I didn't run this morning: just drove the parents to church.

Our best wishes to you and your wife, Don.

Hey Guys...Thanks for the well wishes. She is really doing ok. There are absolutely no symptoms that are causing her any discomfort at this time. She is lucky to have this identified at such an early stage of development, so I am very confident of a fast and easy recovery from all of this. It is concerning and it can't be dismissed, but we are still extremely optomistic. We are just starting down the road on this cancer thing and most people we have talked to that have gone through this with early detection have had posative results. I do know a couple people that where close to me that where not so fortunate and lost their lives to breast cancer but they had severe cases and didn't catch it until it was much later.

So... lets move on and be happy. I'll keep you all updated as things develop.

Thanks again... You guys are great!

HUNGOVER! Buddy's wedding last night was a great time. Not too many people and My son was the dancing star of the night. Funny how a 9 year old shaking his booty entertains people. The wedding was at the Embassy suites here so me and my wife got a room. No drinking and driving for us. After the reception was over pretty much the entire bridal party came to our room and hung out until about 3am. Too much Jack Daniels was had by just about everyone.

Now I have to try to get my braincells to function and do some school work...

Don, I'm so glad that you and Kathie are taking this on head first. I will keep you guys in my prayers.
Did you ever get those front shocks installed? I haven't checked your thread.

I missed the begining of the mouse poop conversation...maybe that's a good thing.

It's cold here today. Only 37 right now.

Have a great day Guru's!

Jeff,

Its cold here today too! Shocks are all installed. That was a nice easy diversion to feel like I have got something completed. I still can't believe I paid over $500 for shocks. I'd never do that in a previous life. Anyhow its done now, so I can't take it back.

Here's a couple snaps for proof of life! LOL

What do you think takes up the bulk of what should be my free time? I've learned one thing in life. You can do as much as you can reasonably do and it will never be enough. People will still be upset. Piss em off early and be done with it.

They do, but the one Bill bought broke and his repairman should be there from 3/28/11 at 9am to 4/15/12 at 4 pm to fix it under warranty.
