Good Morning
Just woke up and heard music coming from my answering machine. Odd ..... The message just kept repeating in an endless loop. That's the second strange thing. From my cell I called my home phone number to see if the answering machine picked up. I get the prerecorded message that the number has been disconnected. The 3rd strange thing. (Play Twilight Zone music now). I recall my home phone number and it works properly. I recheck the answering machine and now the message ends after about 1 minute. Everything now is back to normal but still ...... The message (which is recorded) strikes me as strange. The song that was partially recorded into my answering machine is .......

I'm not kidding about what I'm gonna tell you next. When I was at my brothers house a couple of days after he died I was sitting in his kitchen and the phone wrang. I answered it because we were making all the funeral arrangements. It might have been an important call. Instead when I picked up, there was silence. Not the phone is dead kind of silence. The kind of silence that has hisses and pops. I listened intently trying to hear something in the background. I had a very odd feeling when I got that call. Just like the odd feeling I have right now. Sometimes things that happen just make no sense. You, you can logiclly dismiss them with technical possibilities. In the end ...... You never know ....

Good Morning CGs!

That's some crazy stuff, Tommy. I've had some strange experiences in my life (not bad, just eerie) that I can only chalk up to "supernatural" experiences. I believe 100% that after my grandfather died a few years back he came to visit me in my sleep a few times. Without going into detail, it was real to me. That's all that matters - what we ourselves believe. Maybe your brother is reaching out to you (he's probably pissed his car isn't done yet).

The weather has taken a crazy turn here. Was 90s the other day, yesterday started in the morning in the mid 70s, then dropped to the mid 50s by dinnertime. Wow. High of 54 today with showers. I want the nice weather back

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

BillH is a huge Seals and Croft fan. I'm sure he'll just love that song.

I had the wrong day for my wifes surgery. It's next Friday not Monday. Just thought I'd let y'all know.

The days keep going by so damn fast... I'm afraid that I'll be 80yrs old and in the grave by next week if I close my eyes.

Again, Tommy... I hope it works for her. Personally, I have already had enough of hospitals for a while.

Before I get too comfortable in front of this computer this morning I'm going to slip down to the garage. See ya all later. Probably with a problem.. LOL

Morning guys...I went to bed late and got up early. I have a ton of things to do and I guess my mind wouldn't let me rest. I worked on 4 different computers last night and installed a new router, the old one was starting to kick me off line and I had to reboot it about once a week. Still working on one, but I'm making headway.

I've had those eerie feelings and had strange things happen too....who you gonna call? (Ghost Busters). Don, you are right. I was talking to some of the teachers and we all agree, this school year went by so fast. Graduation today.

Going to be in the low 60's today and tomorrow, 34* right now which is very cold for us this time of the year. Quite a change from just a few days ago when we had record highs. Just wish we could get a little more rain.

Well, I better hit the shop, got a few things to do before graduation this afternoon.

Weather is nasty cold cloudy and not good for driving my Vette. All my strange expieriances have angels involved and have saved my life on one occasion. Good stories that maybe I will share someday.

Got #2 daughter heading to New York City with a class from the University next week. They are going to be touring the fashion district and seeing other stuff. I always worry about my babies going to the big city like when my #1 went off to L.A. Can't keep them down on the farm forever I guess.

Try to mow the lawn today if it isn't to wet. First I have to get motivated to go out in the cold. Life is a gift live and enjoy it but take time to help others through the tough spots, we are all going to have them.

Have a great weekend Guru's! Outside! Let'er buck boys!

Good morning Gurus!

T minus six days till the move.

Whoa Tommy! That's some spooky shit right there!

Gotta wonder exactly what forces are at work in the universe sometimes.

Got a shoot booked for this afternoon. A surprise windfall of business. Much needed...

There's a small going away party for me tonite. Hopefully I can maintain my composure. I hate being emotional, but I've been failing miserably these last few months.

I even get misty at crap on TV these days. I hope I can get back to my stoic self soon.

Well, have a super day, guys and gals!

Good morning! I should just say "Morining" since it is 47 and rainy. Wacky, head-scratching stuff there, Tommy! They canceled the Vette cruise and rescheduled for tomorrow, but we have a conflict, so we won't be going. Meanwhile, I'll have to find some indoor projects for today.

I read an article in AutoWeek about the new Dodge Challenger Drag Pak cars. They had Don Garlits test-drive one - he ran something like a 9.56. Not too shabby for a 79-year-old - how cool is that?

Enjoy your Saturday, rain or shine!

I've had 'ghostly' experiences to... lost a lot of family, and you think hopefully they're still around you somehow... I have found a lot of songs that make me think of them. This one is about losing your father. I dearly miss mine. Lost him when I was 21, mom two years ago... seems like yesterday. I often wonder would Daddy like my Corvette? He never knew about the two of them, nor the Firebird or the pickup which I know he'd have liked. And, I hope he'd be proud I can change my own oil, radiators, etc whereas when he tried to 'teach' me things I'd make an excuse and run off with a friend, wasn't interested in boy's car crap! I put gas in it and that's all I cared about.
Funny how we change and so does life and the small times we miss them.
