2015 Memorial Day Car Show Winner! Huskerland 14746 Posts Member since: 2009/9/12 19:16	Morning Guru's.....cold and clear here...26 degrees. My wife was up visiting her Mother all weekend and just as she was getting back the traction control and check engine light came on in her Tahoe.....it also went to reduced power. I will have it checked out this AM....glad it did not happen up the road somewhere. She said it barely made it up the driveway. Short week but trying to finish up with soil testing...I always set the goal of being done by Thanksgiving but never quite make it... We are staying here and having a quiet family affair. While the kids are still in the area we will have food here......when they are not in the area we will go to their place I'm guessing. Hit the deck arunning boys and girls, it's the first Monday of the rest of your lives.........

It's brisk here, but supposed to be 50 by turkey day, so maybe we'll shed some of the snow we got on Saturday. Another delightful game for the Viqueens - ughhh! And then we jump on the Bears' bandwagon, since they seem to be the only ones left with a shot to beat the Pack, and Cutler breaks his thumb - figures. Thanksgiving is at KC with the families up there. The middle daughter and her family are staying here as she works both Weds and Friday and the GS has B-ball practice those days as well. It's clear and cold here this morning 20*. Got to head to school.

This week has great potential for a couple of DNBFS days. The circus is heading out of town. (Nascar fans, car haulers, souvenier trailers etc.) I could hear the cars running at the track from my new digs. I'm due west about 60 blocks from the track. Didn't finish all my projects before the party but put a serious dent in them. Taking a more leisuerly pace now. I'm sure my wife will be thrilled about that.

Huskerland 14746 Posts Member since: 2009/9/12 19:16	Got the Tahoe back.....it was the throttle position sensor that was acting up......they replaced it but had to put on a whole new throttle body because the position sensor is integrated into it.......smaaarttt! It's an 09 and in 09 this was part of the 5 year or 50K drivetrain warranty......2010 and beyond it is only part of the 3 year or 36K bumper to bumper warranty.....we have 37K on the vehicle so I would have leaned on them to get it covered in the 36k if that had been the case. Chevy is having a issue with these right now.....this guy says he is changing out a lot of them....hmmmmmmm.

Back in the olden days I had about 66 days of Christmas. Started before Halloween and ended a couple of days after New Years. Glad I retired from that lifestyle but don't really regret doing it.
