Chair-man of the bored Homestead USA 33760 Posts Member since: 2007/12/10 0:00	The party's over. Freeze and frost warnings coming tonight. Last night we brought in the birds and the tortoises. Tonight we'll try to get the pig into the garage and let her sleep on some blankets. Then in the middle of the night we'll have to turn on all the pumps and keep all the potted plants wet from about 03:00 Am to about 08:00AM. We should do OK with this one. It's only a one night deal then temps will go back up.

Everyday I end up in the dog house. Everyday my blood pressure rises because somebody always needs a little help with something and totally screws up my unwritten plans. I have to believe that the DNBFS philosophy lies squarely in the hands of those that are unencumbered. I was positive ..... till about 07:15. Now I can feel redness in my face and a desire to kick the dog. (Only kidding, I'd never hurt an innocent animal) breathe in .... breathe out ...... breathe in ..... breathe out ....... Uuuuummmm! ....... Uuuuuuummmmm! ...... UUuummmmmmm!

I topped off the fluid in my reservoir tank last night again. It was lower than the other day, but it seems to have corrected the air bubble in the system (no heat at idle, only while driving). Not sure if it's a leak in the system or what. Am I smelling coolant in the engine bay or just imagining things? Exhaust smells fine so it's not there. I don't have a pressure tester so I'll have to figure something out. Should be cold here today again, so glad the heat is working right. Hope everyone has a great day! Matthew

Plenty of good football games yesterday....except Nebraska's game......geez we are not very good right now....something is going to have to change.... Here are your interesting Corvette facts to ponder today....I was shocked to find out that 87% of all new Corvettes sold went to buyers who are over 50.....Was it that way back in the 60's and 70's? I read that a stock ZR1 has 78 more horsepower then the C6-R that won Le Mons.......wow! Back to work for me and it will be a steady pull now all the way through to the fall......my mantra about that is get in, sit down, shut up and hang on...... You can use that one too Tommy if you want...... Got all my plugs in the C5, wires will be in today and a test drive this week when it warms up....found one Iridium plug in the # 4 hole......puzzling......the rest were all platinums......stock I think. Let's go Guru's....fire up...it's time to get rolling...

I thought the same thing and it ended up being the intake manifold gasket in my daughters van. That ended up costing me $1k. Have it checked. I'm in a pretty good mood this morning dispite the fact that I have to go back to school today. The way I look at it is, I'm one day closer to summer break. I'll catch you guys later, we are having breakfast at school this morning.

I have been trying to get this flu for the past few days and it really kicked my butt yesterday. So, I'm staying home from work today and trying to get some rest and go to the Dr. this afternoon. Looks bad on my record for 2012, one day in and I'm calling in sick. Looking out the window it looks nice and sunny out there but I know different. Its only supposed to get up to 34 today! Yuk, I guess the mild temps were nice while it lasted but winter is finally here. Have a good day gentleman.

I saw Roy's Corvette at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a couple summers back when I was in Cleveland, it's a very nice example of 67 Corvette.
